FREE LINUX HELP?

im running SUSE linux on this laptop its about 7 gigs on the hd and a celeron 333 procesoor i waanna put an OS on it that is easy and compatable im thinking windows 95 can someone help me to clear the computer adn then install 95? i havea 95 cd

install ubuntu linux or windows NT/2000 (how much RAM do u have?) i would not install any of the windows 9x series.

first of all, stop sounding like a n00b… it’s hard to read.

for that computer, i would recommend BeatrIX linux… it’s made for oldrr systems. It is actually a revamped version of Ubuntu, but made to be alot faster (and it uses the Ubuntu software feeds)

as for help, just put in the CD, press enter a few times, and you’re running it! and then you should be able to install to the hard drive from the LiveCD

 

if you want to install windows, you won’t get any help. put on BeatrIX and feal the power
