Quicktime 7 Public Preview version is now available for Windows XP/2000

I just watched the HD Serenity trailer with it.  It used up all of my processing power, I had to shut down all of my programs, and it was still choppy.  Also didn’t fit on my screen properly.  But man did it look good.  Instead of compression artifacts I saw film grain and pores in people’s skin!

I tried to send this to “submit a tip” on the main page, but it kept telling me that my username was already taken.  Yeah, by me!

the trailor I watched was 1080p, after posting I tried a couple at 720p and they worked perfectly.  On this computer I have a 2.8GHz P4HT and 1GB ram.  I’ll have to also try on my laptop which has 3GHz, but less ram.

It doesn’t run very well on my P4 2.4ghz, but it is a beta version.

I also tried it on my laptop now and that worked perfectly too.  It’s a P4HT 3.0GHz 512MB ram.
