I need help! On my PC i have an internal wireless card. I also have an ethernet port. If I put a cable from the ethernet port and plugged it into my PS2, would I be able to play games online on my PS2?

heres a diagram of how I want to hook it up:

You need to plug it into the ethernet port on the *modem*, not on the PC

Well, I would, exept why would my PC have a wireless card if the modem was close enough?

😛 Dunno, that was your own doing, I guess. If my PC was close enough to my modem, I’d just hook my PC up directly to the modem through an ethernet cord. I wouldn’t purchase a wireless card for that.

And you said you *would* hook up your PS2 to the modem, but…? You still haven’t explained to me why you’re not doing it 😛

Or may be you can buy a 4 ethernet port so you can use your PC while someone is playing your PS2

The obvious answer would be:

http://www.staples.com/Catalog/Browse/SKU.asp?BCFlag=False&PageType=1&SKU=519897

Or you could do as I have done.  Take a 4 port linksys router hook it up at the modem and then use another where all the systems are located, and use that to transmit the signal back to the router connected to your uplink.  This way you could hardwire you PS2 & PC to the hotspot in the same room.

If you need help w/ that check this out:
