Hey guys… i have a .dmg file 〈which is a MAC image file〉 and im having trouble burning a bootable image of it on my pc to work on my Mac… any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried alcohol 120%, renaming it to an .iso and using the nero image burner… all i’ve accomplished three dvdr coasters…

You know, I have never been able to sucessfully burn a bootable mac dvd or CD. On a mac, even. the only way that I could get it to work was by actually copying a a bootable disc with toast. For some reason, Apple doesn’t want you to make your own bootable stuff. Wonder why 😊

It’s impossible.  Assuming that you are trying to do what I think you are. Download the Proper ISO version that is burnable from any system.

dmg2iso will break the bootability, I’ve tried it. Here is my last hint.  😉 alt.binaries.mac.osx.apps
