Im designing a site and I want all of the different pages to load in the center kind of like this
the links on the side would load just inside the scroll field area. anyone know how to do this?

insert an iframe and name it, then set ur links target to the name of that iframe. heres an example:

<iframe name="frame" src="home.htm"></iframe>

then on my link id have this:

<a href="http://news.htm" target="frame" rel="noopener">click here</a>

well the other way i can think of doing it with is CSS, divs and PHP. Or maybe using <embed> or javascript. But i dont recommend the last two.

u have to insert it manually. View -> Code and Design. then stick:

<iframe src=“default page to show .htm” width=”” height=”” name=”” id=”“></iframe> as u type it, dreamweaver will suggest the other attributes for that tag.

<code><!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<title>Untitled Document</title>
</head>

<body>
<br>
google

<br>
<iframe height="" width="" src="http://www.microsoft.com" frameborder="0" name="frame" id="frame" scrolling="auto"></iframe>
</body>
</html></code>

make a new document, and put only that in. then u will see how it works.
