I think i have a virus on my desktop please help me i dont know how to take it off my desktop ...

when i right click it and go to properties it shows that stuff.. then i went to right click view sorce and it came up with that. help me please i already tried deleting the file but then it keeps coming back i dont know how to take it off

And this is what the web folder looks like.. if i delete the desktop.htm my desktop comes up to be Page cannot be displayed like a internet page when its offline…

u try running adware/spyware scans? or antivirus scan?

get spybot, adaware, and microsoft antispyware and run all of those.

Thats not a virus. You’ve turned on active desktop. Just go to Control Panel => Display => Desktop => Customize Desktop => Web and turn it off from there.

After you have turned off AD, you will run to run Ad-Aware, this should remove it.  Also, do you have SP2 for XP?  This type of adware should be unable to affect your machine on SP2

i dont look at porn lol.. anything close to that is the link that was on this site.. hiltonhacked.com that prolly did it to me lol.. i finally thought of somthing and restored my computer a day before i went on that site lol..
