The screensaver doesn’t turn on.. it works when i click on preview in settings, it’s turned on and everything but nothing…
my monitor usually shuts off after an hour of inactivity, but that doesn’t work any more either

can anyone help?

reinstall os and when it goes to the blue screen let it continue then it will ask repair or reinstall,, reinstall it and after you hit the f8 key then click on the r for repair and what it will do is wipe windows and relayer it you keep all your files and windows is reinstalled

figured out the problem, my hp printer was running a program at about 3-5 minute intervals to see if the printer software needed to be updated. this caused the screensaver from not showing up, i stopped the process and removed it from startup and everything works fine
