Sienna Miller Hates ‘Boho’

Sienna MillerSienna Miller hates her style being described as "boho." The Factory Girl actress - who is expecting her first child with partner Tom Sturridge - admits she previously went through a "hippie" phase of dressing and while she is now a fan of more tailored clothes, she thinks her laid-back attitude is still reflected in her wardrobe.

"I hate the word boho so much now. I suppose I am inherently bohemian in terms of the way I am as a person, and I definitely went through a hippie phase with my style. But I think it's really more about the way my personality is, than the way I dress. Now that I'm a bit older I do appreciate tailoring much more than I used to, but my personality is still very laid-back. Even when I put on a power suit I still look like a hippie, so I suppose it's true."

In February, Sienna and her sister Savannah announced they were stepping down from their label Twenty8Twelve and the actress revealed her sibling is already working hard on a new venture: "My sister is an amazing designer - she's working on her new label at the moment. In fact she's designing in my attic as we speak. I just can't wait to wear all of the pieces."

Angela Missoni55-year-old designer Angela Missoni is looking to follow in the footsteps of her fashion counterparts and team up with a high street store to launch a new line of clothes aimed at teenage girls. According to Angela, “I would like to do something with H&M because I think it is a very powerful way to reach younger girls now.” Other H&M collaborators include Matthew Williamson, Comme des Garcons and Viktor and Rolf.

Angela Missoni also has no problem with models and actresses designing their own clothing collections, as long as they’re passionate about fashion. Making mention of Sienna Miller’s Twenty8Twelve label, Angela said: “These girls do pick up knowledge by being around fashion, so it doesn’t bother me if Sienna does her own range - she has a genuine passion for clothes, so it’s not just about her using her name.”

Other celebrities to have designed their own clothing lines for stores include Kate Moss, Madonna and Lily Allen.
