The fragrance's - called Gold (because, Jay-Z) - launch will coincide with the unveiling of Jay-Z's "New York Holiday" collaboration.

+ Kristin Chenoweth - not unlike Pamela Anderson a few days earlier - decided to do away with most of her hair in favor of a pixie cut.

Olsen Twins Want to Launch Storefront

Mary-Kate and Ashley OlsenThe Olsen twins would love to open their own fashion shop. Mary-Kate and Ashley -- who co-run fashion ranges The Row and Elizabeth and James -- are keen to open their first store, but believe it is a big undertaking and are unsure when it might happen.

"I think every designer would say they'd love to open their own store, just because when you produce a collection, this whole room will be filled with God only knows how many racks and 150 pieces. What hits the stores is maybe ten pieces, in different colorway. So it would be nice to be able to represent it in your own way. But it's all a matter of timing and when it makes sense, and it's a really big undertaking, so it depends," said Ashley.

The 24-year-old identical twins are well known for their unusual style decisions, and Ashley admits a lot of their clothes are chosen because they don't want people to take their pictures while they are out in public: "That moment for us was us waking up, going to school, and not wanting anyone to take our picture. Kind of a piece of protection."

Art School Friends Help Design Olsenboye

OlsenboyeDespite their fashionista statuses, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s friends helped them design their latest fashion range.

The 23-year-old twins - who already have two clothing lines, and Elizabeth + James - recently launched their new junior range, Olsenboye, and wanted input from their peers.

Mary-Kate said, “We’ve been working with our friends who are our age and in art school.”

Ashley added, “They’ve helped out with the art on the web sites and doing the commercials and the videos.”

The line - which is aimed mainly at teenagers, with most price tags under $50 - is sold exclusively at JCPenney and the girls are thrilled to be working with them. Mary-Kate told People, “All the people at JCPenney have totally embraced all of our friends that have now participated in these projects and it’s a lot of young talent and I think it’s really exciting.”

Ashley also revealed she is looking forward to next season’s looks as she’s not a huge admirer of the over-exaggerated shoulder look: “I’m a fan of strong shoulders, but I think the extreme shoulder, to me - it takes a very special person to pull it off. And I’m kind of ready to move on from that.”

Fashion Police: Ashley and Mary-Kate Go Wild

Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen at an event in Tokyo

While Ashley Olsen may be pondering her fashion career, she and sister Mary-Kate will always be making the news with what they happen to throw on.

In this case, it’s the mouse and rabbit Maison Michel lace ears that they donned at the Opening Ceremony party in Japan last week. Considering Lady Gaga slapped one on her head for a magazine cover, do you find it a step forward or backward for the fashionable twins?
