—Country-pop singer Taylor Swift strikes a pose on the cover of July’s Marie Claire. For once, she isn’t wearing a sparkling, glitter-happy dress.
—Those who have thought that women larger than size 6 can’t look good in a bathing suit have been put to shame: French Marie Claire is making huge waves with their June issue, which features plus-sized models in a swimsuit editorial.
—Apparently Miley Cyrus isn’t the only Disney star who needs lessons in stylish shoe walking. Vanessa Hudgens nearly took a fall from walking in her ankle boots.
—Fashion blogger BryanBoy alerted the internet and his Twitter followers about a Swedish threesome he was involved in. More proof that bloggers can have interesting and scandalous lives.
—Twilight actress and paparazzi target Kristen Stewart was seen promoting Eclipse in Seoul, South Korea with extra-long hair extensions. After her post-The Runaways mullet debacle, I’m relieved to see her do something to her hair for a change.

- Despite the fact that her face has graced plenty of magazine covers and campaign advertisements, Scarlett Johansson reveals in her V Magazine interview that she goes into hair and makeup “like this perfectly prepared sausage.” Does she really think that we’re going to buy that bologna?
- It was only a matter of time after seeing Lady Gaga sport those McQueen lobster claw platforms that we knew she was destined to don the heel-less Nina Ricci creations. Voila! The chic songstress was spotted wearing them at the Museum of Modern Art. That lady sure nows how to pick her shoes accordingly.

Make-Up Free Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson has appeared make-up free on the cover of Marie Claire magazine.
The 29-year-old star - who came under heavy criticism for gaining weight last year - did the cover shoot, which is also free from retouching, in an effort to challenge pre-conceived notions of beauty. It looks as if she actually brushed her teeth, too!
“I don’t have anything to prove anymore. What other people think of me is not my business.”
However, the sexy singer, who recently fronted The Price of Beauty - a documentary following Jessica as she tries bizarre beauty treatments across the world - did admit she would still get dressed up when she felt she wanted to: “If I’m in a mood to go out and feel hot and sexy, I want long hair that I can feel on my back. But I also like bed head.”
Recently Jessica confessed she has changed thanks to her acceptance of her body and looks. She said, “There’s always something that I’ve wanted to fix because there’s always somebody who looks better; that’s what we always compare ourselves to. So I think the journey really was finding what was beautiful inside of me and knowing that it’s unique and rare. And it was a very powerful journey. It has definitely changed my life.”

While we got a hold of the lace halter dress preview from Rodarte for Target some bit ago, Teen Vogue and Glamour are now publishing images of the dress in their magazines, including a look at the nude lace dress (I want!).
Marie Claire also published a few images (seen after the jump) of the pieces, set to hit Target stores on December 20th.

Nina Garcia Guest Stars on The Beautiful Life

Despite her positions as Marie Claire‘s fashion director and resident judge on Project Runway, Nina Garcia is trying her hand at fictional fare.
As if not wanting to venture far from her world, Garcia is set to appear on the fashion-centric television drama The Beautiful Life.
Created by model-turned-actor Ashton Kutcher, the CW series focuses on the lives of struggling models in New York City.
While there is no word yet as to what her character is like nor whether she will be recurring, Garcia spent two days on the set and is confirmed for at least one episode.
The series is scheduled to hit the small screen on September 16th.
