Jennifer Hudson Creates QVC Line

Jennifer Hudson is to release an affordable fashion collection with QVC.

The 30-year-old singer is to introduce the Jennifer Hudson Collection for QVC in September and her new range will comprise of pieces from her former size 16 to her latest look, size six, for all of her fans who span that range.

:I feel like I represent every woman. I've been on both sides of the fence. I've been a big girl and now whatever this is, the average size, whatever you want to call it. But I wanted the clothes to be where any girl could wear it - no matter what size you are - and you could feel comfortable in it," she said.

The Dreamgirls actress is "looking forward" to her collection drawing in the multicultural market as well as music and film fans, and the brunette beauty insists she would wear every single item in her 14-piece range: "It has to be true to me. I would not sign off on it if I would not wear it."

Jennifer Hudson Isn’t Used to Dressing Skinny

Jennifer Hudson is still trying to figure out how to dress her new figure. The singer-and-actress has lost over 80lbs since giving birth to son David in August 2009, and while she has developed a new love of fashion, she still can't decide on what look she wants to go for.

"I just love fashion now. It's so much more flexible, and there are so many more options out there now. I feel like my own little Barbie doll - I get to dress myself up. I hated heels before, but that's all I wear now. But because it's a new body, I'm trying to find out, how do I want to be perceived? Who is this new me? I knew how to be the big girl, but now I have to find out how to be this girl."

Although she is happy with her new figure, Jennifer recently revealed she was furious when she was Photoshopped by a magazine to look slimmer than she was. "It's like, 'Where's the rest of me?' They Photoshopped me probably to the size I am now on that cover, when we all know I was nowhere near that. To me, it did not send out a good message. And it did not represent me well. Did I not just prove that talent is enough if I made it this far? Being who I am, being the size that I am?"

Jennifer Hudson loves her new slimmer look.

The Oscar-winning actress has managed to shed 60 lbs. following the birth of her son David Otunga Jr. last August and her Los Angeles-based trainer Harley Pasternak admits they had an unusual goal for her to aim for.

“Our goal was to bounce quarters off her butt. I think she looks fantastic. She loves the way she looks but she feels really great.”

Harley also claims Jennifer - who was recently announced as the face of Weight Watchers - is so motivated she will often exercise without him asking: “Unprompted, she’ll start running when I’ve just asked her to walk!”

Recently the Sex and the City actress admitted she loved joining Weight Watchers and felt like it changed her life for the better. She said, “I decided to do Weight Watchers. I feel like I’ve conquered the world. It’s a lifestyle change, not a diet. I don’t really diet as such. I actually get up and work hard every day. I make sure I eat right and just make sure I stay focused. It is about being consistent and sticking with it.”
