Fashion Police: Rainbow Happy Paris Hilton
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, Editorials, News,

It’s one thing to embrace color in the summer months. It’s a whole other thing when you slightly resemble a bizarro, boho clown like Paris Hilton.
While her headpiece and necklace can be put to better use, her rainbow-striped dress looks like remnants of a child’s bed sheets. She used to walk runways and has a fortune that could easily buy her a good stylist (or at least a friend who should have honestly told her not to walk out in public like this)—there’s simply no excuse for this.

Fashion Police: Confused Citizen Katy Perry
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, News,

While she may appear to have ransacked a Spice Girl’s closet, “California Gurls” singer Katy Perry is merely a divided
football fan.
Dressed in half the American flag and half the UK flag, the pop singer’s skin-tight dress is surprisingly more appropriate than her usual plunging neckline and hot pants fare.
Perry’s diplomatic sports wear: tacky or touché?

—Roberto Cavalli reveals that he is “a completely typical man,” in that women drive him crazy. Considering that it’s Cavalli, I’m more inclined to think that he’s the one driving the opposite (and possibly same?) sex crazy.
—Although she’s usually looking sultry and glamorous, Alicia Keys showed up to the Keep a Child Alive Black Ball in London looking frumpy and too layered. She may be aiming for flower petals, but all I see is a feathered animal.
—Even though she’s apparently loaded with cash, Gisele Bundchen and husband Tom Brady need not worry about being sued. A New York judge dismissed a case carried by photographers who claim they were shot by bodyguards at the famous couple’s Costa Rican wedding.
—Supermodel Kate Moss spends some serious vacation time topless on a Caribbean beach with boyfriend Jamie Hince of The Kills. The couple even wore matching bathing suit bottoms!

Donators to the auction included Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts, Gisele Bundchen, Charlize Theron and Salma Hayek - who raised $21,000 alone for her burgundy Gucci gown, the first from the Italian brand’s new couture range.

The Jenkins-Penn charity was created by Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn as a response to help the Caribbean nation in its recovery from twos earthquake in January this year. Around 230,000 people were killed and around 1 million made homeless as a result of the quakes.
Carey Mulligan Donates BAFTA Dress to Oxfam
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, News,
She’s as sweet in person as she is on screen! Carey Mulligan has donated her BAFTAs dress to charity.
The 24 year-old actress wore the black and white Vionnet gown to the prestigious ceremony in February - where she was named Best Actress for her role in An Education - but has now given it to Oxfam, to help raise money for the charity’s women’s projects.
“I’m honored to be able to donate my BAFTA dress to support Oxfam’s work helping women living in extreme poverty across the world.”
The dress will be displayed in a temporary Oxfam shop in the basement of London department store Selfridges for a week from Friday, and will be auctioned off with a starting price of $65. Shoppers at the pop-up store will be helped by a group of high-profile women headed by singer Annie Lennox. Funds raised from the sale of the dress will go to Oxfam’s women’s projects across the world including Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Democratic Republic of Congo, West Africa and South Africa. The projects help support and protect vulnerable women by campaigning against violence, giving them the chance of an education and helping in the fight against HIV and AIDS.
