Items Du Jour: Jordin Sparks’ Fashion Faux Pas, Terry Shoots Cindy Crawford

Jordin Sparks+ Singer Jordin Sparks explains her fashion choice for the American Music Awards last month. While it's good to be adventurous when it comes to clothes, it's also good to invest in a fashionably adventurous stylist.

+ Tory and Chris Burch have finally settled their lawsuit. Not surprisingly, the former married couple are keeping tight-lipped about the details of the settlement.

+ Vogue shares the top fifteen best fashion quotes of 2012. Naturally, Karl Lagerfeld and Kristen Stewart dominate the list.

+ Cindy Crawford shows that she's still got it and she still knows how to have a good time, posing with champagne in front of the Hollywood sign for Terry Richardson.

Items Du Jour: Rihanna on Vogue, Lana Del Rey for H&M

Miley Cyrus+ Angelina Jolie was photographed on her way to meeting Turkish leaders to discuss the crisis in Syria looking like she just walked off the runway. Or perhaps maybe she just borrowed the loose, flowing, ground-length gown from her latest film, Maleficent.

+ Elsewhere, Miley Cyrus was snapped up wearing a black crop top with a pair of pants that could easily have been her pajamas; however, she strangely seems to be pulling the look off. Perhaps this is the magical work of her new, daring 'do?

+ Avid Twitter poster Rihanna broke her own news that she'll be covering Vogue a second time; Annie Leibovitz is again set to photograph the singer for the fashion glossy.

+ H&M released a behind-the-scenes video of the upcoming Lana Del Rey campaign, which was shot as a music video of the singer covering "Blue Velvet." Of course, because no one wants to be all that original these days, it looks very much like the David Lynch film of the same name.

Crystal Renn Lands Her First Vogue Cover

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Editorials, Health & Beauty, Models,

Crystal Renn on Vogue MexicoThe year 2011 has thus far been a promising one for Crystal Renn, who landed her first Vogue cover for Vogue Mexico's April issue.

Photographed by David Roemer and styled by Sarah Gore-Reeves, Renn brings out the fun, excitement of fashion with her poses and lights up the magazine's pages while also welcoming spring with bold, bright lips, eyeshadow, nails, and clothes.

Admittedly, the coveted Vogue cover gig was long overdue for Renn, who has previously starred in several Vogue editorials, including a food-centric one shot by Terry Richardson under the former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld.

Turned away from a Vogue Italia cover for not being able to fit into the dress the magazine desired, Renn now has been vindicated with a cover that has received an overwhelming amount of praise, prompting many to believe she may appear on the American edition soon.

Check out the rest of the story after the jump for more photos and a behind-the-scenes video!

Items Du Jour: PETA vs. Victoria Beckham, Lily Cole Ditches Red Hair

-- Supermodel Eva Herzigova is expecting her second child with her partner Gregorio Marsiaj. The couple already have 3 year-old son George who appears on the Fall/Winter 2010 cover and editorial of Vogue Niños España with his 37 year-old mom.

-- English model and actress Lily Cole has ditched her signature red locks for a darker look. While she looks good in anything, I do miss her red hair!

-- In his first television interview since his infamous MTV VMA Taylor Swift outburst, Kanye West showed off his diamond teeth to Ellen DeGeneres. No, it is not a grill. Yes, they are now his real teeth.

-- Despite initial reports that PETA (People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals) was planning an attack on Victoria Beckham for using animal skin in her new line, PETA has since denied the claims... for now.

-- Inez and Vinoodh shoots Sasha Pivovarova for Vogue Nippon's December issue. Too bad Sasha looks like a woodland creature trying to pass as a leprechaun.

Vanity Fair Fails to Credit Lady Gaga’s Stylist

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, Editorials, News,

Lady Gaga on Vanity FairWhile fans and readers are ga ga over Lady Gaga‘s new Vanity Fair cover, one of her own was excluded from the magazine’s credits.

“thanks vanity fair for NOT crediting me in the story….VANITY UN-FAIR .....agrhhh!!!! (sic)” wrote stylist Nicola Formichetti on his page.

Will Gaga stick up for her monster? Let’s hope that Vanity Fair issues an apologetic statement—while Gaga receives an overwhelming amount of praise on her own, it’s nice to give credit when credit is due.

In the meantime, we can watch a behind-the-scenes shoot of the September cover, shot by Nick Knight (after the jump).

Shockingly Slimmer Rihanna Covers Elle

Rihanna on July's ElleRihanna on vacation

Just when we thought that fashion magazines would be more careful about trimming down celebrities for their covers, ‘s July Elle cover is raising some eyebrows.

Known for her toned yet curvy waist and hips, Rihanna’s waist looks unrealistic and derriere is nearly absent. While some may argue that her stance causes her waist to look smaller, this is true; however, compared to a candid photo during her January vacation, her bottom half still looks larger in a similar contorted pose. Has gone too far in Photoshop?

If you’re still unsure, check out a behind-the-scenes video of the photo shoot after the jump.
