Avril Lavigne’s Ripped Up Wedding Dress
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities,
Avril Lavigne's wedding dress will be made up of ripped up gowns.
The "Sk8r Boi" singer - who is engaged to marry Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger - has already made plans for the outfit she will wear at her forthcoming nuptials, and may rip up a number of pieces and put them all back together.
"I have an idea of what I want. It might be something that I buy a few different dresses and rip them up and put them all together and dye them, or maybe I'll kind of do a collaboration with another designer," she said.
Avril is particularly enamored with her pear-shaped diamond engagement ring, and finds it goes with all outfits she is wearing: "I can't take it off. I sleep with it on. It goes with every outfit. Get engaged, it's the perfect accessory for every outfit. I did it. You should, too."

Avril Lavigne’s Sexy Collection

Avril Lavigne says her latest clothing collection is her sexiest yet.
The "What The Hell" singer launched her Abbey Dawn range in 2008 and says the newest designs are a lot more feminine than the ones before because she's starting to grow up.
"It's a little more geared toward an older age group. It's feminine, it's sexy, it's flattering, it's black, it's rock 'n' roll. I'm 27. I'm getting old," she said.
Earlier this year, signed a deal with JustFab.com to launch an accessories line for Abbey Dawn and she has said she's really proud of the collection, which consists of 12 shoe styles and five handbags.
"Overall, the style of Abbey Dawn is rock 'n' roll, so you see a lot of spikes and skulls and black. They are bold pieces. They make a statement. They are a lot of fun," she explained.

Avril Lavigne’s British Influence
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers,
Avril Lavigne's clothing range is heavily influenced by British music.
The Canadian singer's Abbey Dawn line is inspired by some of her favourite 70s punk bands, such as the Sex Pistols and believes her influences are clear to see in her designs.
"Sexy and rock 'n' roll, that's my style. Messy hair, black eyes, fishnets. And you see this in my clothing collection through the colors and the styles. A lot of my designs are inspired by British music. I'm a big Sex Pistols fan and I love the old-school rocker grunge look, so a lot of my pieces feature red plaid and skulls."
The name of Avril's clothing line comes from an old nickname and alias she used to check into hotels without being spotted: "It's called that because I'm Abbey Dawn. It was my nickname when I was growing up and it was the first alias I used when I didn't want people to know which hotel I was in."
Avril Lavigne’s Sally Hansen Collaboration

Avril Lavigne has collaborated with Sally Hansen's Salon Effects brand on a new nail collection.
The singer - who designs her own fashion line Abbey Dawn - has created a limited edition selection of nail polish strips inspired by her style and music which will launch in April and come with a cuticle stick, a mini-file and buffer and instructions for at-home application.
"This is pretty much the coolest thing, because I also do clothing - I love clothing, nails and fragrance, hair, makeup, all that . I was really excited about the Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips - especially since they're superquick. You clean your nails, peel the strips and apply them, file and go. I'm superfast at it, so it takes me like five minutes to do my nails. And it's supercool because the designs that I came up with are my personal style and vibe - they're rock 'n' roll and fun and bright. You have sparkles and little stars - they are cute. For me, I'll be flying on a plane and be like, 'S**t, I need to do my nails.' I can do these on a plane; I've done them in the car. I'm a really visual person; I like creating, and I love to have fun. I think this offers self-expression, and it's a really smart, versatile way to show your style. I think my fans will really like it, because it's easy and simple and fun."

Avril Lavigne’s Tight-Fitting Collection
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, News, Girls, Women,
Quite possibly now-single Avril Lavigne wants her new fashion line to be tight-fitting.
The “Girlfriend” singer launched her clothing collection, Abbey Dawn, on Monday and revealed that she wanted the designs to be as feminine as possible:
“I have a very particular style. I want it to be available to a lot of girls, and I want it to be affordable. What’s really important to me is that everything fits well and is well-made, so I try everything on and approve it all. I’m making sure that I think people in their 20s are going to wear it because it’s going to be a sexy fit, not just, ‘Oh, T-shirts and hoodies.’ The hoodies are slimming. It’s not a thick, bulky material.”
The collection, which caters for all age groups, is named after Avril’s childhood nickname, and she says that it was inspired by her own style: “It has a lot of hot pinks and blacks and stars and purple and zebra. Basically, everything I wear.”
Fashion Police: Avril Lavigne’s Anti-Prom
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, Health & Beauty, Women,

Despite running into some possible marital problems, celebrity perfumer and fashion designer Avril Lavigne turned heads in the Hamptons.
While her more glamorous era undoubtedly beats her “Sk8er Boi” days, I’m not too keen on pairing the gothic prom dress with rainbow Hot Topic pumps. What do you think—successful upgrade or transition failure?
Avril Lavigne Introducing Kids Clothing LIne

While I doubt most people have been keeping up with Avril Lavigne or really given a second thought about her clothing choices, the Canadian pop star is forging ahead with her “fashion” career.
One year after launching Abbey Dawn, an apparel line for juniors, in Kohl’s department stores, the “Girlfriend” singer is close to introducing a collection for an even younger set. The selections, which will be available in about two weeks, will include layered tees, leggings and kid-friendly skulls.
Fashion design isn’t the only thing Lavigne is experimenting with these days. Black Star, a new fragrance she helped create, is due out sometime this summer.
