Marie HelvinMarie Helvin still can’t find the perfect white shirt.

The 57-year-old model - who was a regular on the catwalk and in fashion magazines during the 70s and 80s - has never been able to find a style of shirt which fits her properly despite owning a huge collection of designer clothes.

“I am constantly searching for the perfect white shirt. At my age, I can’t wear all these short, tight things anymore. I’d look ridiculous. I like a plain white shirt, a black A-line skirt and some nice shoes. And that’s it.”

Marie - who has worked for designers such as Yves Saint Laurent, Versace and Valentino - is due to auction off her old wardrobe with upmarket vintage clothing experts Kerry Taylor in London next week. The collection will go under the hammer at the same time as the late screen icon Audrey Hepburn’s clothes.

However, Marie is not sad to see her outfits go up for sale: “I can’t even get a finger into them now!”

Marie - who was previously married to famed photographer David Bailey - previously said she wanted to get rid of her old designer gowns because she didn’t think it was appropriate for her to wear them anymore. “Kate Moss will probably snap them up for Topshop. Hah! But you know, I don’t think it’s appropriate to dress too sexily at my age. Anyway, I can’t get into them any more,” she said.

Helena Christensen's Elle shootHelena Christensen was worried that her grandmother would die of shock when she posed nude.

The supermodel, who turns 41 on Christmas Day, stripped off for a racy photo shoot for Elle magazine but says she only agreed to it because she know the shots would be subtle.

“I have no problems with showing my body. I just wanted the nudity to be in that normal, subtle way because my grandmother is still alive and I want to keep her for another 15 years. I don’t want her to get a shock.”

Helena also says she would like to follow in the footsteps of fellow supermodel Kate Moss and launch her own clothing range: “Obviously, Kate has an exclusive style, so it’s a huge value she can pick the things she picks. I would be super-happy to have a big company behind me like that, who will trust your style and base whole collections on it. That’s the ultimate.”

Heidi Klum with baby Lou Supermodel Heidi Klum lost her pregnancy weight thanks to her baby.

The German-born beauty modeled for a Victoria’s Secret underwear show just six weeks after giving birth to her fourth child, daughter Lou, and credits taking long walks with the infant for helping her shed the excess pounds.

“In the first two weeks after the birth I did absolutely nothing. Then I started very slowly with a bit movement. We live in Los Angeles at a very steep hillside. I walked it up and down - with a baby buggy! Then I extended this subsequently to longer walks.”

As time went on, Heidi expanded her workouts but admits she prefers working out with the infant than a trainer: “Then I called my trainer Andrea Orbeck. She comes to me a few times a week. We train with weights, we do exercises with a medicine ball and much more. To be honest - it is not really fun for me. But I think it’s important for my body.”

Coco RochaAnother model catches the designing bug: Coca Rocha is set to launch her own clothing line.

The Canadian supermodel declared on her blog she plans to create her own range, and has even posted a picture of herself sketching some of the garments in her New York apartment.

She wrote on her blog: “I have decided to start my own line!”

The sketch - which shows a bracelet sleeved jacket being worn with a pencil skirt - suggests her collection will be true to her signature style of ladylike sophistication. The 21-year-old also wrote she needed some help: “I need your suggestions on what my line’s name should be. Please leave your comments, and I’ll be happy to look at your suggestions.”

Lorenzo MartoneLorenzo Martone only wants to represent people who “dream big” with his specialist PR agency.

The strategic planner, who is engaged to fashion designer Marc Jacobs, says he and business partner Ryan Brown felt there was a “need” to launch ARC NY, which helps its supermodel clients fulfil their ambitions away from modeling.

“We thought there was a need because these girls are very young, they are bombarded with proposals and ideas - and they have a lot of dreams themselves. We just felt that they could use a little bit of guidance in how to promote some of those ideas in the right way. They have to dream big. They have to have a bigger plan and a certain ambition for us to represent them, because we don’t want to be a PR agency that just dresses people for parties. That’s not what we do.”

Lorenzo believes people have career ambitions focusing on more than one area and wants to help as many people as possible realize their dreams. He added, “People are multitaskers, they enjoy doing more than one thing - and once you understand that modeling is an entertainment platform, there’s so many ways to express yourself. It can be through your modeling career or through your writing or through a product line that you can express your creativity, so why not?”
