Lea Michele and Cory MonteithLea Michele has made a pilgrimage to the hotel where her boyfriend, Cory Monteith, died.

The devastated Glee star made her first public outing since 31-year-old Cory was found dead from a heroin and alcohol overdose last weekend to the Vancouver hotel where he passed away. According to an eyewitness, Lea, 26, was "out of her mind" with grief when she stopped at a makeshift memorial to the star outside the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel.

Rik Feydik, who claims to be a friend of Cory's, spotted Lea about an hour after the family left the body at the hospital. "Lea was in the back seat of one of the vehicles sitting between two bodyguards. She was wearing her signature huge black shades. Lea never got out of the vehicle but she stayed parked in in front of the memorial for five to seven minutes," Feydik said. When Rik approached the cars they raced off. "They were driving crazy," he added.

Cory MonteithCory Monteith has died at the age of 31.

The Glee actor was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver, Canada yesterday and - while there are no implications of foul play - no cause of death has been confirmed yet. "We are so saddened to confirm that the reports on the death of Cory Monteith are accurate. We are in shock and mourning this tragic loss," said Cory's publicist Melissa Kates.

The star - who played Finn Hudson in the musical drama - was discovered in his room by hotel staff after he failed to check out at the designated time. In a statement, Acting Chief Doug LePard commented, "Shortly after noon today, the Vancouver Police received a call from the BC Ambulance Service regarding a sudden death in a room on the 21st floor of the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel at 1038 Canada Place in downtown Vancouver. The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old actor Cory Monteith, who achieved great fame on the popular TV series Glee."

Meanwhile 20th Century Fox and Fox Broadcasting Company - the executive producers for the show - paid tribute to an "exceptional talent." They added, "We are deeply saddened by this tragic news. Cory was an exceptional talent and an even more exceptional person. He was a true joy to work with and we will all miss him tremendously. UPDATE: During the press conference, a distraught Walter Koenig says his son “took his own life” and advises others who “don’t feel like they can handle it anymore” to seek help.

It appears an exhaustive search for missing actor may have ended with tragic news.

According to the police department, a body was discovered around noon today in Stanley Park in Vancouver. The area - which had been searched before - was a place the 41-year-old was known to frequent.

Koenig hasn’t been seen by anyone since February 14.

Although positive identification has not yet been released by officials, the Vancouver Police Department has already scheduled a press conference for 5:00 p.m. PT. Both Andrew’s father - Star Trek actor Walter Koenig - and mother are expected to attend.

According to CNN, an insider claims the body is that of the former Growing Pains star.

Still No Sign of Missing Growing Pains Star

Andrew KoenigUPDATE: You can read a comment from former co-star Kirk Cameron here.

The family of Andrew Koenig, a former actor on the comedy Growing Pains, is asking for the public’s help. The 41-year-old has not been seen since February 14 in Vancouver, and his loved ones are growing increasingly concerned.

Koenig, who is best known for playing Mike Seaver’s friend Richard “Boner” Stabone, was due to board a flight back to the U.S. from Canada on February 16. Unfortunately, he never made that flight and hasn’t made any contact with those who know him.

His father, Star Trek‘s Walter Koenig (Pavel Chekov), says a letter he received on February 16 - the last day a text was sent to Andrew’s cell phone - has him worried his son may be despondent. “I think it’s something that has been a part of his makeup for a long time. There’s no single trauma. There’s no episode. There’s nothing of that nature,” Koening wrote on his website about the disappearance.

If you have any possible information about Andrew’s whereabouts, you are asked to call the Vancouver Police Department at 604-717-2534.
