Jessica Chastain Hid Her Romance for a Year

Jessica Chastain has been dating her boyfriend for almost a year.
The Zero Dark Thirty actress is smitten with Moncler fashion executive Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo and although they have managed to keep their romance under wraps until recently, they have been together for some time.
"Jessica's been seeing him since last summer. She thinks he's smart and talented," a source told Us Magazine.
Jessica - who went public with her romance for the first time last month at the Women in Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party in Los Angeles - has previously admitted she prefers to date people who don't share her profession because they attract less attention. "'I have a rule. No actors... I've only been on a couple of dates with one and I was so freaked out someone was going to take a picture of us, because they were famous. I realized I wanted just to be able to hang out with someone. And I didn't want to talk about the business," said the 35-year-old beauty.

Jessica Chastain celebrated her Oscar nomination last night at a pre-cermony party with her boyfriend Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo, marking it as their first public appearance as a couple.
The Zero Dark Thirty star has never denied dating someone, but she had never been spotted with him in public together until now. When pressed about whether or not she has a boyfriend on Katie, the 35 year-old answered, "I do. But I will say I have a rule I don't date actors, so he's not in the business, at all… He’s in the fashion industry." Passi de Preposulo works as a manager for outwear designer Moncler.
The pair were seen Friday night at Fig & Olive in Los Angeles, where Chastain chatted with her The Help co-star Viola Davis and Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe.
