Tony Romo’s Wife Gives Birth

Tony Romo with wife and sonTony Romo has become a father for the first time. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback's wife Candice Crawford gave birth to the couple's son, Hawkins Crawford Romo - who weighed eight pounds, eight ounces - in a Dallas hospital on Monday.

"Congratulations to Tony Romo, proud papa of Hawkins Crawford Romo, born yesterday at 5:30pm. 8 lbs 8 oz. (sic)" a post on the Dallas Cowboys' website read yesterday.

Tony and Candice - whose brother is Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford - married in a lavish ceremony in Texas in October. Chace recently revealed he loves to get back to his home state of Texas as much as possible, especially since he had a nephew on the way: "I like to get back to Texas as much as possible. My sister is about to have her baby, I'm about to become an uncle so I like to get back there as much as possible. It' s nice to get away from the fast pace of New York too."

Despite the misleading title, the book’s organizer, Happy Hills Farm Academy/Home, says contributions were not limited to those who actually had a ring on their finger. “We just work with whomever they’re currently living with,” founder Ed Shipman told the NY Daily News. “There’s probably a third of the women that are in there that are considered significant others.”
