John Mayer has a crush on Lea Michele.
The 36-year-old rocker, who split from Katy Perry three months ago, has reportedly been texting the Glee star nonstop and wants to go on a date with her.
"John's had a crush on Lea for a while. He constantly tells her how beautiful she is," a source said.
But while Lea, 27, is very flattered by the attention, she isn't interested in dating anyone just yet following her boyfriend Cory Monteith's tragic death from a heroin overdose last July. "She just wants someone to have fun with. She isn't about to give her heart away to someone like him," the insider said.

The Mad Men actress - who has never revealed the identity of the father of her two-year-old son Xander - has a crush on the "Diamonds" singer, and also legendary late actor Paul Newman, who died in 2008 aged 82.
When asked by online magazine Violet Grey whom she would "most want to go to bed with, dead or alive," she replied, "Paul Newman or Rihanna."
January - who posed nude for a series of raunchy photographs for the publication - admitted she likes to be "mysterious" but also wants to "shock" people and allow them to form opinions of her based on her actions: "I prefer to remain mysterious and have people make their own judgment calls about me than to always have to explain who I am and what I'm about. I try to take risks and shock people a little bit, it's important to provoke some sort of emotion, negative or positive."

I tried to get my manager to call, like, 'Er, could you like call Emma's manager and see if we could, like, meet or something?' It hasn't happened yet. One day, fingers crossed!"
The 21-year-old star has locked lips with stunning actresses including Jennifer Lawrence and Vanessa Hudgens on the big screen and admits he is not opposed to dating a co-star. "As far as I'm concerned, you're both actors, you understand each other's lifestyle, so it's a very natural thing to have happen," he explained.

Katy Perry says John Mayer is her biggest crush.
The "Roar" hitmaker harbored secret feelings for her singer/songwriter boyfriend long before they got together and still can't believe she is dating her dream pin-up. When quizzed if she has a cinematic crush, Katy quipped, "I actually am dating my crush. I had a crush on him for a long time, and it just so happens we fit together great."
The 28-year-old star likes snuggling up with John to watch romantic movies, but always ends up sobbing into his shoulder - which can prove embarrassing during long-haul flights. Discussing her favorite films, she told W magazine: The Notebook. And Titanic. And I always cry on planes. My boyfriend [John] and I call them 'deprivation tubes' - you have a glass of wine, and you're watching a movie, and then, wahhhh."
Katy also touched upon her 14-month marriage to comedian Russell Brand, which ended in December 2012, claiming it just wasn't meant to be. When asked if she liked being married, she sighed, "Of course. I really loved it. It was a new, fun, exciting journey. But I like how I am now, and I think all things happen for a reason."

"Someone like Helen Mirren [does something for me]: she's a vixen and she's got a potty mouth and she'd be crazy. When I met her, she was so immediately familiar and hilarious. What I love most about British actors is that they don't have to be beautiful to work. Remember Juliet Stevenson in Truly, Madly, Deeply? All those tears and all that snot coming out of her nose?
