Natalie Portman to Get French Nationality

Natalie Portman plans to become a French citizen.
The actress is hoping to legally adopt the same nationality as her husband, choreographer Benjamin Millepied, and would even consider changing the spelling of her name to be welcomed across the Atlantic.
"I don't have the French nationality, but I would be love to get it. But I don't know if it's possible because I already have an American and an Israeli passport ... Perhaps I should add an 'h' to my name to make it sound more French [Nathalie]? My father named me after a song by Gilbert Becaud. I grew up in a very Francophile atmosphere," she said.
The couple and their two-year-old son Aleph are planning to move to Paris next year and have already begun house-hunting for the perfect pad in the French capital. "We're looking for an apartment! Benjamin and I are moving in autumn 2014 when his job at the Paris Opera Ballet starts. It's obviously a massive change to quit Los Angeles for Paris. I don't know what my life is going to be like, but I'm so excited," she confirmed.

Natalie Portman Brought Her Son on Honeymoon

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied took their son on their honeymoon because they would have missed him too much to leave him behind.
The couple jetted out to Turks and Caicos in the West Indies at the beginning of the month for a romantic break but couldn't leave 15-month-old son Aleph behind. "This break was very precious to them, even though it was brief. It's typical of them - even their honeymoon was a whirlwind. They used the time to be together. No work, no business calls. Natalie and Ben are the hardest working people. Even before the baby came along, they were non-stop so you can imagine how exhausted they've been since Aleph was born," a source said.
The happy family blended in with other holiday makers and spent most of their time playing and relaxing on the beach. "They made silly faces to make Aleph laugh and they all looked like they couldn't have been happier. Natalie and Benjamin enjoyed a romantic moment as they headed out towards the horizon together. They just kept kissing and looked really in love," said the insider.

Natalie Portman has married Benjamin Millepied.
The Black Swan actress and her French-born choreographer fiance tied the knot in a Jewish ceremony at a private home near Big Sur in California at 8pm last night, according to Us Weekly. The simple ceremony was held under a chuppah in front of just 60 guests.
Natalie, 31, and Benjamin met on the set of Black Swan and welcomed their first child, son Aleph, into the world 13 months ago.
It was previously revealed that the couple would marry in Big Sur as the place is special to the actress. "Natalie and Ben will marry in Big Sur. It's one of Natalie's favorite places - whenever she needs a break from LA she goes there. This wedding is for their closest friends and family. It will be a very relaxed affair. They're not sending out invites. Natalie may not even buy a new dress!" a friend said.
When Natalie won the Best Actress Oscar for 'Black Swan' in 2011, she paid tribute to Benjamin, calling him her "beautiful love" and thanked him for giving her the "most important role of my life."

Despite reports claiming the couple - who have a 12-month-old son, Aleph, together - had already tied the knot earlier this year, friends say the nuptials will take place in Big Sur, California, on August 5.
"Natalie and Ben will marry in Big Sur. It's one of Natalie's favorite places - whenever she needs a break from LA she goes there," one source said.
Just 60 guests will be invited to the ceremony and the couple want the event to be as laid-back as possible. "This wedding is for their closest friends and family. It will be a very relaxed affair. They're not sending out invites. Natalie may not even buy a new dress!" the friend added.
Natalie met choreographer Benjamin on the set of Black Swan in 2009 and they got engaged in December 2010. When she won the Best Actress Oscar for the film in 2011, she paid tribute to Benjamin, calling him her "beautiful love" and thanked him for giving her the "most important role of my life." She gave birth to their first child in June 2011 and at this year's Academy Awards there was speculation they had already tied the knot as they both wore bands on their wedding ring fingers.
