At the last Seattle Mind Camp, Nintendo dropped by to give the attendees an early taste of Wii, one week early. The result? Fierce competition, a tournament that wasn’t for the weak of heart, and a whole lot of fun. We cover Seattle Mind Camp 3.0 in this episode, and focus on the fun that was had with Wii.

Alright guys, so Wii launched on November 19 nationwide, and we were one of the proud many folks who waited in line for half a day or more in order to purchase one on launch day. Of course, we had The Bleeding Edge crew there, cameras in tow, so that we could capture the entire experience. What you will find within is a tale of gamers passionate about Nintendo, passionate about schwag, and passionate about stealing each others cookies and soda and passing the snacks down the line when no one was looking.  Yeah - it happened. Seriously though, what do you expect from over 250 anxious gamers who can’t wait to get their hands on their Wii? Hit the video to view the madness.

We took a trip down to Vizrea headquarters to get a first-hand look at the Vizrea service and the people that make the magic happen behind the scenes. We sat down with Vizrea CEO Mike Toutonghi to get a look at how the social network and sharing service works on both mobile phones, within the Vizrea service, as well as locally on your own client PC.

One of the big selling points that Microsoft is pushing with the Zune is the way that it can easily transfer music from one Zune device to another. Think about it - if you have a friend who owns a Zune, or if you happen to bump into someone on the subway who happens to be bumping one, you can quickly send over your favorite Fergie track in just a few seconds. Of course, you would actually have to find someone who owns a Zune first, and we have yet to meet anyone who even knows what a Zune is. Nevertheless, check out the video to see the admittedly slick Zune-to-Zune song transfers in action.

When you are on the go, staying juiced up on power is a necessity. The iGo Everywhere 8 charging unit is all about keeping your devices fully charged, anywhere you go. Aside from the handy carrying case, you have a retractable cable, a car charger, and a wall charging unit. You need to purchase an adapter that works with your gadget of choice, and iGo offers a multitude of add-ons to charge just about anything. Plus, they were smart enough to make their blister pack perforated so that it’s simple to open. Check out the video for our review.

Okay, so the Microsoft Zune launches on Tuesday, and we are just positive that you just have to know what it looks like on the inside, right? No? Well, hopefully you enjoy our Zune disassembly video nonetheless, because we show you all the innards that comprise the Zune and make the device tick. Heck, we even put it back together as a FrankenZune, and then put it all back together in super-fast motion. If that isn’t worth it, we don’t know what is…

I have no idea how we pulled this off, especially with stiff competition like Diggnation, Command-N, Systm, CrankyGeeks, and others - but we did it. Gear Live’s technology video podcast, The Bleeding Edge, won the award for Best Technology Video Blog. This is truly amazing, and an honor, and let’s us know that despite all the silliness and fun we are having doing what we do, there is a movement happening, and we are honored to be a part of it. Check the video above for a nice, truncated recap of The Vloggies. Oh, and yes - we couldn’t make it, and we didn’t send a video acceptance speech because, quite frankly, we didn’t think we would win!

So, we were able to pick up an InvisibleSHIELD for the Nintendo DS Lite, and figured we would go for a review here on The Bleeding Edge. We have used InvisibleSHIELD products in the past, and were somewhat impressed by their quality (see our iPod InvisibleSHIELD review.) If you are interested in protection for your Nintendo DS Lite that is minimal in presentation, this product may be for you. Check the video for our full review.

So, at the last Mind Camp event that Gear Live put on, Jesse transformed Sparky into a borg. We figured that, with both Halloween on the horizon, as well as the next Mind Camp happening next month, we would relive this amazing feat. Check out the video for some serious movie make-up action, along with the always crazy antics of Sparky - only this time, in Borg style.
