Mophie's Ross Howe, the company VP of Marketing, gives us the latest news on the Juice Pack Air, Juice Pack Plus, Juice Pack Outdoor Edition, and the line of external chargers that Mophie has available. As you can see, we're fans of that orange Outdoor Edition. The big (literally) addition to the Juice Pack line was the Powerstation Plus, which can basically recharge your phone from empty to full a bunch of times, which means you could potentially go camping for a weekend without electricity and still keep your devices charged the whole time. Bleeding Edge TV 414: Nest Learning Thermostat

We chat with Matt Rogers of Nest at CES 2012 in this episode. Nest is a learning thermostat that is created by the guys who created 13 generations of iPod and a few generations of the iPhone, and is an ingenious way to re-imagine saving energy in your home. The thermostat is a round metal dial with a circular color LCD screen that works a lot like an iPod classic click wheel. You can turn the temperature up or down by twisting the dial, or you can go through its menus by pressing it in like a button. It can be set to automatically change the temperature based on the time and whether you're present. We also demo the Nest thermostat to show you exactly how it all works.

Bleeding Edge TV 406: Twelve South PlugBug review

We review the Twelve South PlugBug in this episode. The PlugBug is a clever device that attaches to your MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air AC adapter, and allows you to charge both your Apple notebook, as well as a USB device (like your iPhone or iPad.) It's a neat little device that we think makes things super convenient, especially during travel, and it's one of those things that we wish we would have thought of first. We give you a look at the device, along with how it works, in this video.

Bleeding Edge TV 401: Apple iPhone 4S speed test - AT&T vs. Verizon

In this episode we compare the data speeds of the iPhone 4S, looking at Verizon and AT&T. As has been mentioned by Apple, the GSM version of the iPhone 4S supports the faster 14.4Mbps speeds that AT&T refers to as 4G (not to be confused with 4G LTE, as confusing as that may be.) The Verizon (and Sprint) model of the iPhone 4S doesn't support the faster speeds on those CDMA networks. We also compare the speed using the AT&T Microcell as well, which is a device you can buy from AT&T if you don't get great coverage in your home or workplace to boost your signal strength.

Be sure to also check out our iPhone 4S review, iPhone 4S unboxing gallery, and iPhone 4S video review.

Bleeding Edge TV 400: Apple iPhone 4S

We give you a look at the white AT&T iPhone 4S, along with the black Verizon iPhone 4S in this episode. As you can see, if you're familiar with the iPhone 4, Apple made some subtle changes in the design of the iPhone 4S, most notably in the antenna, which now has a slick dual-action function. The Verizon model also picks up a SIM card slot, making it (and the others) a world phone device. We also show you the included accessories that Apple throws in as well. Be sure to check out our full iPhone 4S review, and iPhone 4S unboxing gallery as well.
