Sandra BullockSandra Bullock is planning a TV version of Miss Congeniality.

The Heat actress reportedly wants to produce a comedic spin-off of her hit 2000 movie, in which she played FBI agent Gracie Hart, who went undercover at a beauty pageant, and is confident it would be a success.

"Sandra is planning on producing a comedic TV version of her smash movie series Miss Congeniality that's being described as Bridesmaids Meets 24. Sandra loved her Miss Congeniality FBI agent character Gracie Hart and the concept so much that for years she has continued to keep up friendships with FBI agents she met while researching it. Sandra loves that real FBI agents, particularly female ones, continue to respond to and write her letters about both Miss Congeniality and The Heat," a source said.

The 49-year-old actress - who produced The George Lopez show from 2002 to 2007 - is looking forward to casting the lead role and wants to introduce the character to a new audience.

Katie Holmes Getting Her Own Reality Series?

Katie HolmesKatie Holmes is in talks to launch her own reality show.

The Don't Be Afraid of the Dark star has reportedly been plotting to reinvent herself as America's next domestic goddess in the vein of fellow actress Gwyneth Paltrow and is considering showing her life on the small screen.

"Katie admires how Gwyneth Paltrow has carved out a foodie career. She's hoping this might be a great new direction for her. A number of prominent cable networks are interested in the show, which will see Katie learning to make different dishes, as well as concentrating on catering for children," a source said.

The report comes after Katie, 35, posted pictures of herself with her designer pal Zac Posen learning how to make fresh pasta at Mario Batali's New York cookery school, Eataly. It is thought Katie was getting advice from the top chef about her new show, especially since she only started to experiment in the kitchen two years ago.

Real-Life ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ to Have His Own Reality Show?

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Reality, Gossip, News,

Jordan BelfortAlthough Martin Scorsese already jumped on the opportunity to cash in on Jordan Belfort's life story in this year's The Wolf of Wall Street film (which sees Leonardo DiCaprio portray Belfort), Electus
CEO Chris Grant wants to develop a reality show that will star Belfort himself.

Grant was impressed by Belfort's memoirs - in which he details how he stole $110 million from investors throughout the 90's - and saw potential in him as a TV star: "I knew without even seeing a picture of him that he could be a talent
both behind and in front of the camera."

The Electus CEO found Belfort in Manhattan Beach, California working as a motivational speaker and proposed that he participate in a series where he helps those who have "hit rock bottom" and seek redemption. Grant has said that others on the production team who have met Belfort described him as "TV gold," although a network has yet to pick it up.

Electus is the same studio which produces shows such as Fashion Star and Mob Wives.

Roseanne Barr's Twitter

Roseanne Barr is not happy with the executives over at NBC - where she was developing her comeback television series - and she evidently wants the internet to know the extent of her anger.

The comedienne took to social networking site Twitter to unleash her disapproval with the NBC suits, pointing out that she gets treated differently than younger women in the industry, despite her career: "women who have achieved far less than me are allowed to write their own shows, bit I’m constantly forced 2 work w a censoring ‘show runner.’"

NBC Orders Tina Fey, Ellie Kemper Comedy

Tina Fey Ellie Kemper

With a few of their veteran comedies now off the air, NBC needed some new TV blood for their line-up, so who best to ask for a new show than the creator of 30 Rock and one of the stars from The Office?

The network enlisted Tina Fey and her producing partner Robert Carlock for an upcoming show starring Ellie Kemper, which sees her as a woman living in New York City after having fled from a doomsday cult. Considering that the plot doesn't strike me as something that will be tickling my funny bone, it will be interesting to see Fey's spin on it.

Though the single-camera project is currently untitled, NBC has ordered 13 episodes to air next Fall.

Halle BerryHalle Berry has signed up to star in Steven Spielberg's new TV series.

The Academy Award-winning actress will take on the lead in CBS drama Extant, playing an astronaut who returns to Earth after a year-long solo mission. The protagonist struggles to reconnect with her husband and son, while also coming to terms with her experiences in space.

The career-changing role will be the Cloud Atlas actress' first regular TV role since Knots Landing in 1991, and is undoubtedly a massive coup for the show. "For five months a year I'll get to live with and play this incredibly intelligent and vulnerable woman, and for the remainder of the year I'll continue to look for other roles that move me as deeply as this one," she said in a statement.

The CBS network has also embarked upon a two-year production deal with Halle - who is expecting her first child with her fiance Olivier Martinez - and her producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas.

Eddie Cibrian with his sons and Leann RimesBrandi Glanville's sons won't appear on her ex-husband's new reality TV show. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 40, insisted her boys, Mason, nine, and Jake, six, will not feature on Eddie Cibrian's new series with his wife LeAnn Rimes, which will air on VH1 later this year or in early 2014.

The couple, who first revealed in May that they were developing their own TV series, will star in six half-hour episodes, as they want to take control of the way the public sees them. They were previously said to have decided not to feature Eddie's sons on the show but a press release this week confirmed it would focus on LeAnn's role as a stepmother, "learning how to navigate the co-parenting of Eddie's two sons."

But Brandi clarified on Twitter on Friday morning that their sons will not be on the show. "GM [Good Morning] my fancy kids don't want 2 wake up but they R being picked up by dad 2 go 2 Aspen! Fancy! PS. no they won't be on eddies show #safetravels (Sic)" she wrote.
