MONDAY (1/11)
- Little People, Big World (TLC, 8pm): “Matt and Amy’s families gather to celebrate the twins upcoming graduation. But when Zach has a failing grade on his report card, no one is sure whether he’ll receive a diploma after all.” Fortunately, education is not a prerequisite for reality TV stardom.
- Bank of Hollywood (E!, 9pm): “Contestants include two men who want to open a mullet hair salon.” Heck - I would fork over my own money just to see that.
- Two and a Half Men (CBS, 9pm): “Jake tries to win back his ex-girlfriend by writing her love songs.” Charlie (Sheen) will be taking detailed notes.

Thursday Ratings: Big Numbers for Bones
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, Reality, Sci-Fi/Horror, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, 30 Rock, Grey’s Anatomy, Survivor, The Office, Ratings,
There’s nothing like real-life family to make holiday episodes festive - and successful. Zooey Deschanel’s appearance on yesterday’s Bones helped the show pick up its best numbers of the season. Meanwhile CBS - facing only repeats from ABC - had easy wins in both the viewers and the demos.
8pm
- Survivor: Samoa (13.8 million, 4.3/12 in 18-49) raised 1 million.
- Bones (10.8 million, 3.1/9) added on 900,000.
- Community (6 million 2.3/7) was up 600,000.
- Parks and Recreation (5.6 million, 2.3/6) improved by 800,000.
- FlashForward* (4 million, 1.0/3) lost 3.3 million.
- The Vampire Diaries* (1.9 million, 0.8/2) did about the same.

Despite repeats of CSI and The Mentalist (and a two-hour Private Practice block), CBS managed to hang on to the night’s viewers. Meanwhile, the network also found itself tying ABC in the demos.
8pm
- Survivor: Samoa (12.8 million, 3.9/11 in 18-49) was the most-watched show of the night.
- Bones (9.9 million, 2.9/8) gained 100,000.
- The fall finale of FlashForward (7.3 million, 2.2/6) went downward by 700,000.
- Community (5.4 million, 2.2/6) added on 300,000.
- Parks and Recreation (4.8 million, 2.1/6) raised 200,000.

Thursday Ratings: CBS Takes Over ABC
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, Reality, Sci-Fi/Horror, Talk Shows, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, 30 Rock, Grey’s Anatomy, Survivor, The Office, Ratings,
Looks like somebody just wasn’t in the mood to share this week. Although Thursdays are typically known for win-win situations (CBS wins the viewers; ABC wins the demos), that was not the case last night. This time around the Eye network surprisingly took both categories.
8pm
- Survivor: Samoa (12.3 million, 3.8/11 in 18-49) was off by 900,000.
- Bones (9.8 million, 2.7/8) remained steady.
- FlashForward (8 million, 2.4/7) lost another 300,000.
- Community (5.1 million, 2.0/6) tied Parks and Recreation (4.6 million, 2.0/6) in the demos.
- The Vampire Diaries (3.7 million, 1.6/5) fell by 600,000.

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, Reality, Sci-Fi/Horror, Talk Shows, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, 30 Rock, Grey’s Anatomy, Survivor, The Office, Ratings,
There’s nothing like a good sweeps stunt to get viewers tuned in. What happened to Kate Walsh in that sliding car? Over 10 million watched Private Practice to find out. How did CSI end its crossover event? Nearly 17 million now know.
8pm

- Bones (9.8 million, 2.9/8) added on 1.3 million.
- FlashForward (8.3 million, 2.6/7) lost 200,000.
- Community (5.4 million, 2.1/6) and Parks and Recreation (4.7 million, 2.1/6) tied in the demos.
- The Vampire Diaries (4.3 million, 2.0/5) did about the same.

MONDAY (11/9)
- Two and a Half Men (CBS, 9pm): “Charlie and Alan wake up together…with a woman they don’t recognize.” Strange, but significantly less awkward than two and a half men.
- CSI: Miami (CBS, 10pm): “Ray Langston of the Las Vegas crime lab arrives in Miami to investigate after a severed leg found in the Everglades is discovered to belong to a girl who disappeared in Las Vegas a week earlier.” Horatio + Morpheus = sunglasses showdown.
- Little People, Big World (TLC, 10pm): “Jake gets his own cell phone for his 12th birthday, and before long he racks up an outrageous bill, making Matt and Amy question whether he s ready for the responsibility.” The Learning Channel is not known for highlighting responsibility—in pre-teens or fathers of eight.

Just because FOX benefitted from the World Series doesn’t mean its programs did. Last night’s return of Fringe hit a series low in the demos. Meanwhile, the other networks resumed their old ways. ABC placed first yesterday with the 18-49s while CBS was on top with the viewers.
8pm
- Survivor: Samoa (12.7 million, 3.7/10 in 18-49) was up slightly.
- FlashForward (8.5 million, 2.6/7) was off by 500,000.
- Approximately 8.5 million welcomed back Bones (2.5/7).
- Community (5.6 million, 2.3/6) picked up 100,000; Parks and Recreation (4.9 million, 2.2/6) slid by 100,000.
- The Vampire Diaries (4.2 million, 2.0/5) did about the same.
