The crew ordered pizzas and received a parking ticket while inside the home. They stayed briefly, then packed up and left.

Oprah did not make an appearance, so it’s likely the team was shooting an introductory segment for an eventual interview.

VIDEO: Tearful Oprah Announces Decision

This is how you make an anti-climatic statement.

After waiting until the very end of today’s broadcast to formally announce her already-leaked decision, Oprah Winfrey offered very little to her audience (aside from tears) that we haven’t already heard. Although she said she wanted to the viewers to hear the message “directly” from her, she never once did end the “conjecture” or “speculation” about her future.

Is it possible the talk show has no idea what she’ll be doing two years from now? Is she simply going to take a break and just go with the flow? Well, considering she’s in the process of starting , that’s highly doubtful. Besides—who’s going to keep Gayle King employed?

She didn’t want to use her program as a political platform. (Although President Obama had been a guest on her program, his appearances came before he decided to run for office.) Unfortunately, Oprah’s explanation didn’t satisfy many of her female fans.
