Jennie Garth and Luke Perry to Co-Star in Sitcom

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Comedy, Gossip, News,
Jennie Garth and Luke Perry are developing a sitcom together.
The former Beverly Hills 90210 co-stars were thought to be dating after being spotted together a number of times recently but they are in fact planning a new show which they hope will "play up their chemistry."
"They have been spending a lot of time together recently because the two are working on developing a TV sitcom together. It will be a multi-camera half hour show, currently we have producers and writers and are meeting with networks," a representative for Jennie said.
Jennie split from Twilight Saga star Peter Facinelli in March after 16 years together and she is said to be more confident than ever after first struggling to cope with the breakdown of her marriage. "She's happier than ever. She looks like the old Jennie! When you get sad, you either overeat or you become really healthy. Jennie's taking care of herself - she's taken control of her situation. Before, she used to be like, 'OK, let's cover me up.' And now she's more open-minded about having fun with her clothes. She's feeling good in her skin," a friend said.

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip, Rumors, Spoilers,

When news of the new 90210 series broke, fans dreamed of seeing Luke Perry, Jason Priestley and Tori Spelling reunited onscreen with Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth. Each one, however, said they wouldn’t be involved with the show…at least, not yet. But Brandon Walsh and Dylan McKay may be closer to the show than we think.
According to E!, both characters will be a big part of next Tuesday’s episode “Model Behavior.” This installment to the story airs September 30, and could introduce a few new twists and turns to the plot.

Luke Perry, Shannen Doherty and Casting for 90210

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Drama, The CW, Gossip, Rumors,

Years have passed since the show rocketed to success (and was subsequently canceled), and yet Beverly Hills, 90210 is still dominating entertainment news. If you’re longing to see some familiar faces on the fall spin-off of the popular teen series, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re hoping to see Luke Perry on the new show, you will be.
“It’s that 90210 time of year,” Perry laughed with reporters as he answered questions about the spin-off (though he was actually promoting an unrelated project with the Hallmark Channel). Luke Perry has already stated that he will not - that’s right, will not - become Dylan again on camera. According to his own comments, Perry does not really wish to do the series without mastermind Aaron Spelling, famed TV producer (and sire of Tori Spelling) who passed away in 2006.

No Luke Perry for 90210

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip,
While little is known about the storylines we’ll see on 90210 next year, there’s one thing we definitely won’t be seeing: a Kelly/Dylan marriage.
Even though Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling are both welcoming a return to the famed zip code, Luke Perry says he’s not envisioning a trip to his old stomping grounds.
In a radio interview with Billy Bush, Perry said, “It’s just not something that I’ve thought about, to be honest. I don’t see it happening.” Well - I don’t think Spelling ever saw herself opening a Bed & Breakfast either, but money’s money.
But who knows? If Jason Priestley winds up directing a few episodes as rumored, Perry could have a change of heart later. Lord knows, he had more than his share of those when it came to Brenda and Kelly…

Beverly Hills 90210 Cast Reunite for DVD Release

Posted by Wendy Michaels Categories: Drama, Prime Time, DVD, Video,
Wow, good times. Beverly Hills, 90210 was a 1990s institution. And now the gang is back together again—only this time, not at the Peach Pit, and only for one night… and without Brenda and Dylan. But hey, you can’t have it all! I’m speaking of the recent cast reunion for the DVD release of the first season of Beverly Hills, 90210. “We always worked hard to stay together as a cast,” Jason Priestley (Brandon Walsh), told USA Today. Preggers Tori Spelling (Donna), Jennie Garth (Kelly), Brian Austin Green (David), Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea) and Ian Ziering (Steve) were all on hand for the release. No-shows Shannon Doherty and Luke Perry were speculated to be absent because the cast can in no way profit from the DVD sales. Strangely enough, no one considered the technology of releasing series on video/DVD and so it was not included in their contracts.
