Olivia Wilde wants to host Saturday Night Live.
The 29-year-old actress would like to follow in the footsteps of her fellow Hollywood stars including Emma Stone and Justin Timberlake and be invited to front the popular sketch show.
When a sked whether the role was of interest to her, Olivia said, "That would be so much fun! I'm a big fan. It'd be great."
Referring to the star's fiance, Jason Sudeikis, who is a regular cast member on the show, E! News joked, "You have an in," to which Olivia quipped, "Do you know anyone?"
The actress famously met Jason on the Saturday Night Live finale in 2011 just after her divorce from ex-husband Tao Ruspoli, and was initially worried the funnyman was out of her league.

Kristen Wiig Leaves SNL?
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Comedy, Late Night, NBC, Saturday Night Live, Gossip, Rumors,
Kristen Wiig held back tears as she made what is believed to be her last appearance on Saturday Night Live this past weekend.
The final sketch during the season finale saw the actress - who has been a cast member on the show for seven years - don a cap and gown with guest host Mick Jagger acting as high school principal during a graduation scene. Kristen's character was singled out as "one particular student who is leaving this summer," and she then danced with the Rolling Stones rocker, executive producer Lorne Michaels and other cast members to the group's hit "She's a Rainbow."
Kristen then struggled to keep her emotions in check as the show's full ensemble, including Amy Poehler and Jon Hamm, appeared to sing "Ruby Tuesday, which features the line :Still I'm gonna miss you."
Network NBC have not made any official announcement about Kristen leaving the show, or commented on the rumors that Jason Sudeikis and Andy Samberg are also departing as program regulars.

VIDEO: SNL’s Jason Sudeikis as George W. Bush
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Comedy, Late Night, NBC, Saturday Night Live, Video,
Kanye West and former President George W. Bush (played by Jay Pharoah and Jason Sudeikis, respectively) stopped by SNL’s Weekend Update desk on Saturday to talk about their newfound friendship. The skit was inspired by the real Kanye West’s decision last week to apologize to Bush for suggesting he is racist.
Sudeikis performed ably as Bush, but he’s no Will Ferrell. Pharoah’s Kanye West was pretty good, but it was begging for an auto-tune moment. The skit was one of the more enjoyable of the episode, which starred Scarlett Johansson in the hosting position.

VIDEO: SNL’s Take on the State of the Untion
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Comedy, Late Night, NBC, Saturday Night Live, Video,
Last week’s Saturday Night Live opened with Fred Armisen, who has enjoyed the honor many times this season. He reprised his role as President Barack Obama to deliver his own version of the State of the Union address.
Complete with real footage, the skit was hilarious, though Armisen’s impression is by no means definitive (or even very good). What makes this clip stellar is Jason Sudeikis as Joe Biden. Just watch it to see.

Two New Females to Join SNL Cast
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Comedy, Late Night, NBC, Saturday Night Live, Renewals,
UPDATE: Michaela Watkins and Casey Wilson have both been let go from the show.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, two of SNL’s strongest female cast members, have moved on to other projects. So who will step into their shoes? Many are anticipating the arrival of two new women on the set, but this is a huge disservice to one who’s been quietly waiting for a chance to step into the spotlight.
Jenny Slate and Nasim Pedrad could be two bright spots in the upcoming 35th season of Saturday Night Live, both coming from comedy backgrounds. But SNL already has a funny female to light skits on fire; Kristen Wiig has been on the show for a few years now, and always manages to score laughs.
