Friday Ratings: Ugly Night for Ugly Betty

A night of repeats didn’t help Ugly Betty‘s long-term survival chances this weekend. Despite a slate of originals for ABC, the network lost out to CBS in viewers. Meanwhile, FOX - thanks to an animated movie - actually won in the demos.

• Ghost Whisperer* (1.3/4 in 18-49) pulled in 5.6 million.
• Ice Age: The Meltdown (1.4/5) warmed 4.8 million.
• The 40-Year-Old Virgin had 3.9 million laughing for NBC (1.3/4).
• Supernanny (3.5 million, 0.9/3) was down by 1.5 million.
• Smallville* (0.6/2) turned in 1.6 million.
