Brad Womack on The Bachelor

He may have broken everyone’s hearts on the 11th season of The Bachelor, but that doesn’t mean Brad Womack is a bad guy … right? ABC hopes so hopes not, which is why they have re-booked the mustachioed man for the 15th installment of the reality series.

Womack, who famously left DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft roseless back in 2007, apparently thinks love can be found the reality-stunt way. “I don’t care if people call me an idiot or don’t believe those words coming out of my mouth,” Brad tells Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday’s broadcast of her show.

“I truly believe that it can work. So here are 25 to 30 women that I never, ever would meet in regular life, and I’m clearly doing something wrong. I’m still single.  So why not? I really do believe that this can work,” he adds.

Weeds' Mary Louise Parker

(You can view TV Envy’s Summer Television Programming Schedule here.)

MONDAY (6/16)
  • The Bachelorette: DeAnna Tells All (ABC, 8pm):  “With six bachelors remaining, assesses the competition to win her heart so far, as do her six beaus.” Apparently revealing their boxers just hasn’t told her enough.
  • Weeds (Showtime, 10pm):  Season premiere. “Nancy, Andy and the boys, on the run after she set fire to their house, head to the beach and a ‘heartwarming family reunion’ with Judah’s grandmother.” Had I known this show was only 30-minutes long, I could have caught up a long time ago!
  • The Mole (ABC, 10pm):  “The contestants, clad in nothing but their underwear, hit the streets of Santiago, Chile and solicit clothing.” At this point, the show could probably use a little skin to ramp interest up a bit.
  • Secret Diary of a Call Girl (Showtime, 10:30pm):  Series premiere. “A high-priced London escort entertains a middle-aged client who enjoys role-playing and has a penchant for being down on the farm.” I think that summary says it all.

Reality News: ‘Moment of Truth’, ‘Apprentice’, ‘Bachelorette’, ‘Supernanny’

Moment of TruthNow that has successfully breezed through its two-week trial run, the show is being rewarded with a nice bonus.  - apparently believing the reality show’s gimmick won’t tire quickly - has added on another 13 episodes to its initial 12-pack order.  (I’m guessing it was the program’s stellar debut that instilled the network with such confidence.)

Although a list of potential seatwarmers dwindled after the show’s first two airings (seems the attention seekers weren’t too thrilled about what they had seen), other ballsy contestants will be stepping up.  Production on the additional segments will begin on Feb. 11th.

Celebrity ApprenticeJust when you think the Trumpster is down and out, he just keeps coming back for more.

Even though his ‘recruitment’ show once faced cancellation, it’s had a reversal of fortune and now been granted an extension.  Impressive numbers for has made think twice about letting and the reality staple go too soon.  (No rush decisions should ever be made during a writers’ strike.)  Come this time next year, we will be seeing a second round of stars vie for credibility and airtime.

Seriously, a boardroom full of D-listers is really the only thing that keeps viewers attracted to the show these days.  It’s not like anyone really believes winners do anything for Trump’s organization anymore.
