Gwyneth Paltrow Wants to Work with Her Doppelganger Claire Danes

Claire Danes and Gwyneth PaltrowGwyneth Paltrow wants to work with Claire Danes.

The 41-year-old actress is good friends with the 34-year-old Homeland star, and since they both have similar facial features and are petite blondes, she is hoping they'll have the chance to team up on screen and play sisters.

"Gwyneth has known Claire personally, but casually, for almost 20 years and when Gwyn was in her early 20s and Claire was a late teen actress, they both became famous around the same time in the mid-90s. Much has been made of the pair's similar looks and Gwyneth has finally decided that she and Claire have to find a project where they can play sisters!" a source said.

Gwyneth is said to be keener on the idea while Claire - who is currently starring as CIA agent Carrie Mathison on the third season of hit TV series Homeland - is taking things "one day at a time." The source added, "But for now, this seems like a bit of a one-way street. Claire is a cool customer and doesn't get all worked up about 'dream projects' the way Gwyneth does. She's a 'one day at a time' kind of girl, so no one knows if Gwyneth's dream will come true."

Heather Morris to Return for 100th ‘Glee’ Episode

Heather MorrisHeather Morris and a host of former Glee stars will reunite for the show's 100th episode.

Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy announced on his Twitter account this week that all of the original cast members are being invited back for the celebratory episode. He has now confirmed that Heather - who played cheerleader Brittany S. Pierce in the show - will return, along with Harry Shum Jr. (Mike), Mark Salling (Puck), Dancing with the Stars winner Amber Riley (Mercedes) and Kristin Chenoweth (April), who won an Emmy for her guest turn.

Heather hasn't appeared in the program since the fourth-season finale when Brittany was written out of the series, after announcing she was bound for early admission to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Since her exit, actress Heather and her boyfriend Taylor Hubbella welcomed their first child in the world, Elijah, who was born in September.

Whether Dianna Agron, who played Quinn, will return for the special episode remains unclear. The actress has not appeared since the 14th episode of Glee's fourth season and was not a part of season five's tribute to late star Cory Monteith.

Renee Zellweger Set for ‘Dancing with the Stars’?

Renee ZellwegerRenee Zellweger is being lined-up to appear on Dancing with the Stars.

Bosses for the reality show are keen to pull out all of the stops for the next season by choosing celebrity contestants who have all won Oscars, and they believe securing Renee - who took home the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for her role in Cold Mountain in 2003 - will encourage other stars to sign up.

"Renee is being seen as the lynchpin contestant that would seal the deal for the theme season. The producers are fixated on Renee, in part because she hasn't done much dancing at all since Chicago more than 10 years ago and there's this real mystery about her and what she's up to. They keep raising the amount of money they are willing to give her in the hope that she'll say yes, and the theory is that if they can get her to sign on, then it would attract some other really prominent Oscar winning stars - who wouldn't normally do reality TV - to fall in step," a source said.

Ratings for the ABC program have decreased in recent seasons after producers only wanted celebrities with little dancing experience to take part, but they believe a talent like Renee's could boost viewings. "Now that the rule that stars had to be total dance novices has been broken, it opens the door wide for someone like Renee, who hoofed it in Chicago, to strut her stuff. The DWTS masterminds think the idea of having a theme of Oscar winners would be a sure ratings-grabber," the source explained.

Dianna Agron: Being Away from ‘Glee’ Is Hard

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Drama, Music, Prime Time, FOX, Gossip, Internet, Rumors,

Dianna AgronDianna Agron is finding it "hard" to be away from the Glee cast.

The 27-year-old actress is upset at claims there was a rift between herself and the other stars of the show after she failed to appear in last month's special Cory Monteith tribute episode, and admits it has made dealing with the death of her co-star even more difficult.

Dianna - who played Quinn Fabray on the show - told Ireland's Independent newspaper, "Bad news spreads faster than anything good. And I think it's just such a shame, especially involving someone that we love so much, that the good old internet has taken everything that they want to say about it and spread it like wildfire. So I've nothing but love for that show and everybody involved in it and it was such a huge part of my life, so I think it's equally hard when I'm not there every day anymore, I don't see all of them every day anymore to have things like this fly around. It's more heartbreaking than it would be if I was there with everybody. It makes me feel even farther away from our show."

(WARNING: Spoilers ahead!)

Adina Porter as Lettie Mae on 'True Blood'Prepare yourself for more Lettie Mae Thornton Daniels next summer on True Blood! Adina Porter, the actress who portrays Tara's alcoholic-turned-Bible-thumper mom, has been promoted to a series regular on the hit HBO show.

Though Porter has been a part of the vampire drama since its first season, her character had been in and out of the spotlight the past season; however, it's no surprise that we'll be seeing more of Lettie Mae considering how the show left off with her begging Tara to feed off her (as if they're going to kill off a gem of a character like Lettie Mae).

Porter starred in two seasons of another popular HBO show, The Newsroom, and has also appeared on Grey's Anatomy and American Horror Story.

True Blood's next - and final! - season airs next summer.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers: I Look Like a Bad Guy

Jonathan Rhys Meyers in DraculaJonathan Rhys Meyers thinks he looks like a bad guy.

The Dracula star, who has been to rehab three times for alcohol addiction, is always looking for "some sort of balance" in his life, but believes his inner conflict makes him a better actor.

"I'm cast as a bad guy because I look like one. And I can convey that sense of conflict because I'm a guy who lives with conflict a lot of the time. It's not something that I have to search for - that sense of looking for some sort of peace, looking for some sort of balance. It's evident in me regardless of what I do, so maybe it just suits the parameters of Dracula," the 36-year-old star said.

The Irish actor has had a tough time over the past 12 months since signing on to star in the new TV series, which is produced by both NBC and Sky: "I've gone to two funerals. My grandfather and my best friend passed away during this production. So I went back and put them to rest. I don't get many breaks."

Halle BerryHalle Berry has signed up to star in Steven Spielberg's new TV series.

The Academy Award-winning actress will take on the lead in CBS drama Extant, playing an astronaut who returns to Earth after a year-long solo mission. The protagonist struggles to reconnect with her husband and son, while also coming to terms with her experiences in space.

The career-changing role will be the Cloud Atlas actress' first regular TV role since Knots Landing in 1991, and is undoubtedly a massive coup for the show. "For five months a year I'll get to live with and play this incredibly intelligent and vulnerable woman, and for the remainder of the year I'll continue to look for other roles that move me as deeply as this one," she said in a statement.

The CBS network has also embarked upon a two-year production deal with Halle - who is expecting her first child with her fiance Olivier Martinez - and her producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas.

Moffat Tries to Explain How All Peter Capaldis Exist in ‘Doctor Who’

Peter Capaldi in 'Doctor Who' and 'Torchwood'

While some fans were probably relieved that Doctor Who's team didn't cast an even younger regeneration for Twelve, many were skeptical of the explanation for casting Peter Capaldi, who has not only previously appeared in the show's fourth season episode "The Fires of Pompeii" but also in the series spin-off Torchwood (for more than one episode, might I add).

Showrunner Steven Moffat attempted to address this issue, claiming that it still follow's the show's mythos:

“We are aware that Peter Capaldi’s played a part in Doctor Who before and we’re not going to ignore the fact. I’ll let you in on this. I remember [previous showrunner] Russell [T. Davies] told me he had a big old plan as to why there were two Peter Capaldis in the Who universe, one in Pompeii and one in Torchwood. When I cast Peter, [Russell] got in touch to say how pleased he was, I said ‘Okay, what was your theory and does it still work?’ and he said ‘Yes it does, here it is.' So I don’t know if we’ll get to it… we’ll play that one out over time. It’s actually quite neat."
