FOX Brings Glee to National Anthem
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, Specials, Sports, FOX, Video,
Some of the cast members from Glee helped open one of the World Series games recently, delivering an enjoyable version of the national anthem.
The song was brilliantly sung by Amber Riley, who plays Mercedes on the show and was once rejected by American Idol producers (seriously, somebody should get fired over that). On backup you’ll see Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale (with no wheelchair!), Dianna Agron, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz.
You’ll want to have the sound turned up before you watch this clip, or you’ll miss most of the Glee.

Game 1 of the World Series was easily a knockout for FOX—but it also did well for ABC. Although it was a distant second in the viewers, the Alphabet network saw its audience numbers go up thanks to original counterprogramming.
