Anna Nicole Smith kisses son Daniel Medical Examiner Joshua Perper, of Broward County, signed Anna Nicole Smith’s cause of death as “pending” on her official death certificate last Wednesday. Yesterday, one week after the certificate was signed, Perper announced that a cause of death has been officially determined. Smith, 39, was found unconscious and unresponsive in her Florida hotel room on February 8, 2007. Hours later, Smith was pronounced dead by medical personnel at the Memorial Regional Hospital. The Florida police are out in full force investigating the details of the case, but reports say it could still take several more weeks before anything conclusive is determined. Until then, the cause of Anna’s death will remain a mystery to the rest of us.
