Lea MicheleLea Michele will reportedly star in her own Glee spin-off.

The hit show's creator Ryan Murphy is planning to launch a new show which will center on the actress' character, Rachel Berry, and feature some of the other stars from the musical comedy in supporting roles.

The news comes just weeks after it was confirmed Glee will end in 2015 after its sixth series. "This will be announced soon. They're making the deals now and it also presents a viable exit plan for the main Glee series itself - in that some of its core cast would also migrate to the Lea Michele project as Glee is showing signs of aging," a source said.

Glee was rocked by the death of Lea's boyfriend Cory Monteith, who played her on-screen beau Finn Hudson, in July. The actor - who had a long history of battling drug abuse - succumbed to a deadly combination of heroin and alcohol in a hotel room in Montreal, Canada.

Cher

"I'm so not qualified to be judging on a technical basis because I don't know anything about ballroom dancing. I just don't want to be responsible for someone getting a different mark than a professional would give them. So I am a little worried about that part."

Jennifer Love HewittJennifer Love Hewitt's TV show The Client List has been cancelled amidst a creative standoff.

The actress' raunchy series - which sees her play a masseuse who provides her clients extra services in order to make ends meet - has been axed after two seasons by Lifetime following claims the star reportedly clashed with producers over who would be the father of her pregnant character Riley's child.

Jennifer, who is an executive producer on the series, is pregnant in real life with her co-star and fiance Brian Hallisay's baby and was eager for his character - who is her on-screen husband - to father the child. Show bosses were less than impressed with the suggestion and Lifetime refrained from renewing the show, which wrapped its second season in June, until the creative dispute was settled.

According to Deadline, the differences became "too much" for the channel and producer Sony Pictures TV, and both sides came to a "mutual decision" to end the series.

Connie BrittonYou know that a series is brilliant when a former cast member who's currently the star of her own show openly announces how much she'd love to return to said show. Amirite?

Such is the case for Connie Britton, who recently told Rolling Stone that she'd fly down to New Orleans for a guest role on American Horror Story: Coven at the drop of a (witch) hat.

"I've actually have been talking to them this season, because they're down in New Orleans and I'm in Nashville. [I've] said, 'Okay, let's see if we can try to figure this out...' I'm like, 'I'll put that [pointy hat] on and jump on a plane and go to New Orleans.' Yes, I would do that. As long as we can figure it out with both productions, I'm in. I hope it happens."

In the hit FX show's first season, Britton played Vivien Harmon, the wife whom Dylan McDermott's character cheated on, prompting their fateful move to the haunted house to repair their relationship.

Simon CowellSimon Cowell could be set to leave The X Factor.

The 54-year-old media mogul is a judge on the singing contest - which is his brainchild - however he could be planning to leave the show since it is pulling in fewer viewers than in previous years - with the live show on Tuesday night, attracting only 4.8 million viewers. The drop in numbers could force bosses to lower the budget on the series, meaning Simon will walk away and back onto the judging panel of the UK version of the talent show.

"People have talked as if it is all over for The X Factor, but that's not the case at all. It is true that ratings are down but it still does well with younger viewers if it was to come back next year it would have to have a lower budget. Simon leaving the show would allow a cheaper panel to be introduced - and give him the time to be reunited with the British show," an insider said.

The X Factor is currently in its third season with the winner awarded a $1 million recording contract with Simon's label Syco, however, in the previous two series' it was worth $5 million. Simon is currently on the judging panel alongside Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio, and he is mentoring the groups category.

Jayma MaysJayma Mays says it wasn't her choice to leave Glee.

The redheaded beauty announced her departure from the long-running musical comedy earlier this year, but has now admitted the show's creators decided to write out her beloved character Emma Pillsbury: "It wasn't my choice. The creators decided to do it. We knew it was coming last year. Some other characters will also be leaving this season. It's very sad to be going, but I understand why they do it. It's about getting new blood into the show. I really enjoyed playing Emma. I don't know how I'm written out yet. I'm so curious."

Jayma recently appeared in Glee's emotional tribute to late leading actor Cory Monteith - who died from an overdose of heroin and alcohol in July - and she recalls the emotional atmosphere on set while making the episode. "It's been really hard. We just filmed his memorial episode and it was a very difficult thing to do. Just being there, you felt the absence of a friend and co-worker. It's been a very sad and difficult year for everyone," she explained.

Bryan Cranston and Anthony Hopkins inset

Breaking Bad has won the hearts of many critics and viewers everywhere, and now Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins has made it a point to declare his admiration for its star, Bryan Cranston, and the rest of the cast.

In a letter addressed to Mister Cranston - which was posted on the show's Facebook by Cranston's co-star Steven Michael Quezada - Hopkins writes, "I’ve  just finished a marathon of watching Breaking Bad from episode one of the first season – to the last eight episodes of the sixth season. I have never watched anything like it. Brilliant! Your performance as Walter White was the best acting I have seen – ever. I know there is so much smoke-blowing and sickening ######## in this business, and I’ve sort of lost belief in anything really. But this work of yours is absolutely stunning."

Sinead O'Connor

Sinead O'Connor holds Simon Cowell responsible for "murdering music."

The Irish singer appeared in an interview this week to address her ongoing feud with Miley Cyrus, but instead let rip at the music mogul and his flagship show The X Factor, blaming him for the death of rock 'n' roll and the exploitation of young female artists' sexuality . The war of words began earlier this week when Sinead warned Miley in an open letter about the dangers of the music industry and projecting an overly-sexual image, and the 20-year-old singer responded by lashing out on Twitter, mocking bipolar disease sufferer Sinead for her mental health issues.
