Thursday Ratings: New Amsterdam Already Takes a Fall

In only its second outing, New Amsterdam saw a 20% decline. Despite the great lead-in, the FOX series couldn’t compete against Lost.

- American Idol (9.3/24 in 18-49) topped the evening with 26.2 million.
- Survivor (12.6 million, 4.0/10) was on track with last Thursday.
- Lost* (5.5 million, 1.9/5) saw a 300,000 bump.
- The Office* (4.1 million, 1.8/5) was a carbon copy of last week.
- Smallville* (2.3 million, 0.9/2) had some decent growth.
Variety
9pm
- Lost (12.9 million, 5.4/13 in 18-49) hung on tight to last week’s numbers.
- New Amsterdam (10.6 million, 3.6/9) lost a huge chunk from this past Tuesday.
- CSI* (2.6/6) fingerprinted 9.8 million.
- About 8.8 million saw Omarosa booted off Celebrity Apprentice (3.5/8).
- Reaper* (0.6/1) captured 1.6 million souls.
10pm
- Without a Trace* (2.4/7 in 18-49) left its mark with 9.5 million.
- Eli Stone (7.5 million, 2.6/7) held firm with its last performance.
- Lipstick Jungle (5.9 million, 2.4/7) was up a few notches.
