Sunday Ratings: TV Movies Can’t Topple Staples
Make no mistake: The Last Templar is no Da Vinci Code. Last night, the first half of NBC’s two-parter was outmatched by a repeat and a reality weeper. CBS’ Hallmark offering only did slightly better. By night’s end, the Eye network was on top with the viewers while ABC was a winner with the demos.
8pm
- Cold Case (13.3 million, 2.6/6 in 18-49) was up 8% from its last original episode.
- A 2-hour Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (11.6 million, 4.0/10) had the best demos of the night.
- Dateline (7.1 million, 1.9/5) was up 1.3 million.
- The Simpsons (2.6/6) averaged 5.5 million over two episodes.
- CW’s airing of Antitrust (0.3/1) registered 770,000.

- Approximately 11.7 million got sucked into Loving Leah (2.2/5) on CBS.
- The Last Templar (2.3/6) had 9.9 million entertained.
- Family Guy (6.4 million, 3.1/7) added on 1.5 million.
- American Dad (2.7/6) had 5.7 million laughing.
10pm
- A Desperate Housewives* repeat (6.6 million, 2.5/6 in 18-49) had better demos than Templar or Leah.
