Although the cast members of Saturday Night Live have not yet begun working with Betty White, they have nothing but great things to say about the Golden Girl.

“I’ve been a fan my entire life, so I’m extremely excited,” Kristen Wiig told the New York Post about their upcoming guest host. Bill Hader seconded Wiig’s enthusiasm. “I’m gonna be really starstuck by her,” he stated.

Even though Lorne Michaels said he had asked White to appear on the program several times over the past 35 years, Seth Meyers thinks her timing is great. “She’s one of the few people that is in her prime at 88,” Meyers claimed.

So what kind of things will they have in store for the television veteran come May 8? “Somebody like her, I think we’re just gonna wanna make her as happy as possible because we all adore her from years of watching her on various things,” Andy Samberg predicted.
