Preview Epilogue Included in Lost DVD Set

If you’re still trying to figure out how to get yourself back onto that island with Hurley and Ben, this new clip might be able to help.

Fans eager to revisit Lost will soon get a handful of extras for their loyalty. In addition to a recovered Black Rock journal entry and a collectible senet game, a 12-minute epilogue featuring Benjamin Linus (Michael Emerson) and Hurley (Jorge Garcia) will be included in the complete box set. This mini-sode will address a handful of questions left unanswered by the finale.

“The writers, I think, wanted to give our viewers a little treat, a little dessert at the end of the series,” Emerson explained to Access Hollywood. “I think that they were also conscious that there was a very intriguing window — a blank space left in the narrative in the finale and that is, ‘What was it like during all that presumably, long time when Hurley and Ben were in charge of things?’ What was life like in the Dharma world during that period? And so I think they decided to give us just a little taste.”

According to those who viewed the full version of the leaked video (before it was pulled by ABC), another Oceanic passenger makes an appearance during the epilogue: Walt (Malcolm David Kelley).

Not willing to fork out out the dough for the complete collection? You can still watch “The New Man in Charge” on the Season 6 DVD. Both offerings will hit the stores on August 24.
