Jon Heder/Will Ferrell Project Won’t Happen
The Blades of Glory duo won’t be making us laugh on Comedy Central after all.
Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite, School for Scoundrels) has dropped out of a planned sitcom on the cable network which is being produced by Will Ferrell (just about every other funny movie made since 2002).
Very little info is being offered on the split, only this very ambiguous statement: “Comedy Central, Gary Sanchez Productions and Jon Heder have mutually decided to part ways over creative differences with the character. Jon wishes the show nothing but success, and is very grateful for the opportunity.”

Heder was supposed to play the leading role in the series, which focuses on a young man who moves back home to live with his parents. Chris Parnell and Horatio Sanz from SNL are already signed on to the project. Now that Heder has dropped out, it’s likely the show’s production schedule and release date will be pushed back.
