Here’s a quick look at some of the casting announcements made recently:

True Blood: A list of men have been added to the vampire drama’s third season. Theo Alexander has been cast as Talbot, the vampire king of Mississippi’s boyfriend. Ugly Betty‘s Grant Bowler (Connor Owens) will climb on the bike to portray Coot, a werewolf and biker gang leader. Meanwhile, Marshall Allman (Prison Break) will guest star as Tommy Mickens, Sam’s long-lost sibling.

Desperate Housewives: Frasier‘s Jane Leeves will now be the one doling out the advice. Nile Crane’s love will be sitting down with Tom Scavo for approximately two episodes as a psychotherapist. No word why he’ll need the help. She’ll first appear sometime in January.

Ugly Betty: The staffers of Mode will soon be seeing a new side of Vanessa Williams when her real-life brother makes a cameo. Chris Williams (Dodgeball) will arrive on scene as Wilhediva Hater, a drag queen version of Wilhelmina Slater. The two will join forces to take over the real diva’s responsibilities.

The Forgotten: Elisa Cuthbert‘s return to 24 won’t be the only place she’s seen in 2010. The actress has been chosen for a recurring role on the ABC drama. Cuthbert will play a “strong and successful Chicago professional” who sees the network investigate “a case close to home.”

30 Rock: Elizabeth Banks has banked another role on the small screen, this time on NBC. The Zack and Miri star has just been tapped to play Jack Donaghy’s latest love interest. (Buh-bye Julianne Moore!) No start date for her multi-episode arc has been announced yet.

Lie to Me: Fans of The Shield can watch a mini-reunion on the FOX series. Producer Shawn Ryan has recruited six cast members from his FX program for cameos in the same hour. The episode featuring Benito Martinez, Catherine Dent, Kenny Johnson, David Marciano, Cathy Cahlin Ryan and David Rees Snell in non-officer roles will air this spring.
