Here’s a quick look at some of the casting announcements made recently:

Two and a Half Men: Now that everyone’s forgotten about his star-studded Bobby, director Emilio Estevez will soon be returning to his acting roots. In an upcoming episode of the CBS comedy, Emilio will play a drinking buddy of Charlie’s. (For those who don’t already know, Sheen is Estevez’s younger brother in real-life.) This cameo comes three years after their father, Martin Sheen, guested as Rose’s father.

Ugly Betty:  First there was Naomi Campbell. Then there was Lindsay Lohan. Now we have Nikki Blonsky. The Hairspray star has just become the latest legally-troubled star to be welcomed on the set of the ABC show. In her first television role, Blonsky will play an assistant at Mode‘s competitor, Elle. Although she appears to be friendly with Betty, she - like everyone else on the show - comes with a hidden agenda.

Lost: Let’s hope she’s given a better ending that the one she had on 24. Reiko Aylesworth - the agent who was killed by a car bombing on the FOX series - will be getting a second chance at life on the ABC program. Although we’ve grown used to seeing her in a dark room with computers, Reiko will now be playing “a smart and successful professional woman with a love for the outdoors who is looking for the right man.” She’ll reportedly be getting at least four chances to find that special guy.

Chuck: Later next year, Andy Richter and Jenny McCarthy will be adding a little more levity to the NBC show. When Chuck and Sarah are “forced” to play husband and wife in the ‘burbs, they meet Andy and Jenny - other residents in the neighborhood. Expect to see this episode sometime in February.

Dirty Sexy Money: Having seen John Schneider play a pornographer on Nip/Tuck, I’m now confused the Dukes of Hazzard star can play any nasty character. Next up for the 80’s icon is a small arc on the soapy drama. Schneider will guest as a congressman who works with Tripp Darling in his war against Simon Elder. No dates have yet been announced for his visit.

Private Practice: Angel star Alexis Denisof will soon be keeping the docs at Oceanside Wellness busy. Later this month, the actor will be hitting up the clinic on two different occasions…and with two different pregnant woman. Coincidentally, Denisof and his wife, HIMYM‘s Alyson Hannigan, are also expecting in real life. Alexis can be seen on the ABC drama on November 19.
