Idol Fanatic is making it possible for you to vote for your favorite American Idol 9 contestant via Facebook. Each week, followers will have the opportunity to use five votes, though more can be earned if you invite friends to join the group.

The application is more or less a work in progress. Reports say that it works, but whether or not FOX will allow it to go live is a big question mark. In the past, producers have carefully controlled voting methods on the series.
