ABC’s upcoming midseason schedule will probably look like a giant gift to some…a lump of coal to others.

The good news? The Oceanic 6 will make their return and the Sacred Heart crew (a.k.a. Scrubs) will have their network debut.  The bad news? Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money will both be given (temporary? permanent?) vacations.

Here are some of the programming highlights/lowlights to be aware of:

• Lost will move from its former home on Thursdays to Wednesdays @ 9:00. It’s first episode will be on January 21.
• Private Practice will be pushed out of its home and given a better lead-in. The program will now follow the other Shonda Rhimes baby (Grey’s Anatomy) @ 10 on Thursdays.
• Life on Mars will be given a new lease on life at 10:00 on Wednesdays. (This decision will pair the time-challenged show with the other one.)
• Scrubs will air back-to-back episode at Wednesdays @ 8pm. That means the quirky comedy will end up displacing the quirky Daisies.
