In the east, we have the Derrick Rose-led Chicago Bulls versus LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and the rest of the Miami Heat. In the west, Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks have had a long wait after sweeping the Los Angeles Lakers, but they finally have an opponent, the Oklahoma City Thunder led by the dynamic duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. EndScore Report: NBA Playoffs, What Else?

Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks are on the brink of eliminating Pau Gasol and the Los Angeles LakersIn this edition of EndScore Report, DV and Chris take a gander at the NBA Playoffs' conference semi-finals. In the east, the Boston Celtics are down to the Miami Heat 2-0 and the prospects of coming back don't look so good. The Chicago Bulls have taken a 2-1 lead (at time of recording, it was 1-1) on the Atlanta Hawks. Meanwhile, over in the West, the Dallas Mavericks have taken an almost insurmountable lead, 3-0 (2-0 at time of recording), over the Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies are all notched up at one game apiece. LISTEN to hear how we see the rest of the series going.

EndScore Report: NBA Playoffs First Round Review

Zach Randolph and the Memphis Grizzlies shock the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs in the NBA PlayoffsIn this edition of EndScore Report, DV and Chris look at what's been going on in the NBA Playoffs thus far. After the recording, the Memphis Grizzlies surprisingly eliminated the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs to complete the series during the first round. By the way, DV and Chris were wrong in their selection of the Spurs to win, but, so were many others. In any case, the Grizz will face the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Other teams moving on from the first round to the Conference Semi-finals include the Dallas Mavericks who will match up against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Chicago Bulls and the Atlanta Hawks go head-to-head, and probably the most intriguing pairing, the Boston Celtics against the Miami Heat. EndScore Report: Western Conference NBA Playoffs Preview

Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili,and Tim Duncan once again lead the San Antonio Spurs into the playoffsDV and Chris delve into each series of the Western Conference NBA Playoffs with the San Antonio Spurs versus the Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Lakers against the New Orleans Hornets, Dallas Mavericks versus Portland Trail Blazers, and Oklahoma City Thunder versus the surging Denver Nuggets. Once again the Spurs are one of the favorites to take the west led by the trio of Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and Tim Duncan. However, Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, and the rest of the Lakers are the defending champs. The Dallas Mavericks came close to a title several years ago and the Oklahoma City Thunder look like they'll be contenders for several years with the core duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. Kendrick Perkins traded away from the Boston CelticsThe Boston Celtics traded Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic, as well as a first round pick in 2012 that belonged to the Los Angeles Clippers. Is this move by the Celtics beneficial or detrimental? Perkins was an integral part of the Celtics' recent runs in the playoffs that saw them reach the NBA Finals in two of the past three seasons, including one NBA title. In fact, many think that if he hadn't gotten hurt during last year's NBA Finals, the outcome would have been different where the Celtics defeat the Los Angeles Lakers.

Blake Griffin wins slam dunk contest by jumping over a carBlake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers took a pass from teammate Baron Davis and dunked the ball. Normally that wouldn't be anything special since it happens a lot, but this time it was during the slam dunk contest during NBA All-Star weekend. Oh, and it was over a car. This dunk proved to be the exclamation point to help Griffin defeat the Washington Wizards' JaVale McGee in the slam dunk finals. Other participants included the Toronto Raptors' DeMar DeRozan and the Oklahoma City Thunder's Serge Ibaka.

Blake Griffin is an NBA All-StarLos Angeles Clippers rookie and odds-on favorite for NBA Rookie of the Year honors, Blake Griffin, is being praised about half a season into his NBA career. Griffin was named one of the Western Conference's All-Star reserves, joining the San Antonio Spurs' Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan, Dallas Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki, Los Angeles Lakers big man Pau Gasol, Utah Jazz point guard Deron Williams, and fellow first-time All-Star, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook.

Griffin, Ibaka, McGee, and Jennings in NBA slam dunk contest

The NBA slam dunk contestants have been announced and there's already a clear favorite for the contest. The Los Angeles Clippers' Blake Griffin is one of four dunkers who will show their skills and creativity during the 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The hometown boy should be favored as he's provided the most highlight-worthy number of dunks this season. Other participants include Serge Ibaka from the Oklahoma City Thunder, Javale McGee of the Washington Wizards, and the smallest dunker amongst big men, Brandon Jennings of the Milwaukee Bucks. Who do you think will win?
