After five years on air, NCIS is still showing a lot of life.  Although the show had its largest audience ever, FOX still came away with the evening’s best numbers: 8pm NCIS (18.3 million, 4.1/11 in 18-49 age group) also had the hour’s best demos. ‘Earl’ and ‘The Office’ Reruns Coming to TBS

Wow, did you catch last night’s marathon of The Office? I caught the last half of “Casino Night” and it really brought back all of those old Pam and Jim feelings. When Jim puts it out there that he loves Pam… then later kisses her. Sigh. Add to that the slightly teary-eyed Jim when she rejected him—wow, that’s a great episode. And now, The Office will live on in reruns on TBS. Ditto for My …

Two big baby announcements—courtesy of two past television stars. First up, Felicity‘s Keri Russell and hubby Shane Deary welcomed baby boy River Russell on June 9th. This is the first baby for the pair, who were married on Valentine’s Day after dating for a few years. She recently appeared on the big screen in Waitress, and you may remember her from a guest-starring gig on Scrubs. Her appearance on the comedy only stands out to me …

The 2006 Emmy Awards

As some of you might remember, TV Envy brought you live remarks during the 2006 Oscars.  I had so much fun last time - I thought I would do it again for the 58th Annual Emmy Awards.  Unfortunately, since I live on the West Coast, live blogging is not possible.  I could cheat and write this while reading the online reports—but I won’t.  I will keep my eyes focused on the TV screen before me …

You know the saying - it isn’t all about money. But sometimes, in television, it is. The popular comedy The King of Queens—which features the daily life of a sweet delivery driver and his somewhat shrewish wife—was glaringly absent from CBS’s renewal announcement, which left many viewers asking ‘Why?’ It seems a contract dispute is the reason. The show’s leads, who reportedly make $500,000 an episode, are asking for more money based on the show’s popularity. …

Don’t you hate it when someone’s got it better than you?  Well, apparently Doug and Carrie do.. which is why they gave their friends such a hard time in this week’s show. In Carrie’s case, the issue was with Arthur’s dog/person walker, Holly.  Despite a string of failed relationships, Holly announces that she is moving away to be with her boyfriend. (In other words—actress Chloe Reid is moving to ABC to star in their new comedy, …
