Friday Ratings: So-So Debut for Crusoe

You gotta give NBC a hand for at least trying something different. Although it did better than last week’s episode of America’s Toughest Jobs, the network’s two-hour debut of Crusoe was third in its hour with the demos. Friday night, once again, totally belonged to CBS. 8pm Ghost Whisperer (8.9 million, 2.5/9 in 18-49) was off by a 1/2 million. Crusoe (1.6/5) debuted to 7.3 million. The first hour of Are You Smarter Than a 5th …

Friday Ratings: ABC Picks Up Traction

Despite low premiere numbers last Friday, ABC’s lineup picked up a little steam this week. This improvement, however, was not enough to take down CBS’ strong staples. 8pm Ghost Whisperer (9.4 million, 2.6/9 in 18-49) was up slightly. Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (5.8 million, 1.4/5) did the same as last week. Wife Swap (4.3 million, 1.5/6) improved by 1/2 million. America’s Toughest Jobs (4 million, 1.2/4) picked up another 600,000. Everybody Hates Chris …

Sunday Ratings: CBS and FOX Both Win

Thanks to a strong performance from 60 Minutes, CBS was able to pull off a narrow victory in the viewers. Sunday Ratings: High School Musical No HSM

Looks like the High School Musical name doesn’t always mean gold. The premiere of ABC’s new reality series pulled in disappointing numbers last night and did very little for ABC. Meanwhile, NBC ended up courting the viewers while tying FOX with the demos. 8pm Big Brother 10 (5.8 million, 1.9/6 in 18-49) was the hour’s most-watched show. America’s Got Talent* (5.3 million, 1.4/4) entertained 1 million more than last week. High School Musical: Get in the …

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition* (5.4 million, 1.7/5) sawed off 1.1 million. America’s Got Talent* (1.1/4) entertained 4.3 million. Sunday Ratings: Originals Do Well for NBC
