  • At least that mistakes did generate sales in the stores and proved to us that people do still buy vinyl records. Even though vinyl records are very old, people will still buy them, so you should at least buy some and see if they sell. Kudos to Fred Meyer Chain for taking the risk of ordering more and selling them at most of its stores! It would be interesting to see the results of all the sales.

  • I really look forward to seeing this technology once it comes out. It would help me save a lot of electricity, and especially save a lot of water too. This is a really amazing concept, I hope that research continues on this project and an actual washing machine like this is launched some day.

  • No wonder America is the most obese country out there, it's creations like this that make people more lazy! Although technology like this is very interesting and I think it's great. I would find it funny if anyone else was using this thing, because they're just being lazy. Instead of having a machine get your stuff for you, you should get up and get your own food! I don't like to be negative, so I'll post something positive. I think this technology is great for the disabled people out there, it will help them immensely!

  • The camera looks really sleek, and because it's intended for kids I'd say it's a great camera. The games included in there look fun to play. At first I just thought it had PC games included in there, but then I found out that the games are actually integrated so that you look into the webcamera and interact with the game. This is an awesome concept. The specs aren't really good for this webcamera, it only has 1.3 megapixels. I would still say it's a great webcamera for kids! It would make a great gift, and the kids would have fun playing with it.

  • Wow, that was fast! I'm sure Speck was prepared to make this 3G iPhone case as soon as details about it were released in the Apple conference. Buying a case is definitely a must for an iPhone. You don't want your iPhone screen to get messy or even fall down and crack. I think the ToughSkin is better than the SeeThru skin, although they're both made for completely different purposes. The ToughSkin is made to protect your iPhone from damage, while the SeeThru is made to show off your iPhone in a light case. I think these cases are both expensive though, but it's worth investing in a good case for your iPhone. You don't want to break a $200 phone!

  • Haha, I really like the comment that CEO Peter Michaels made towards Apple! I think the work that Hop-on Hop is doing with their cell phones is great. Most of us are guilty of throwing away those cheap pay-as-you-go phones because we have no use for them once we're done with them. Making them disposable really helps the environment! $10 for a cell phone is very cheap, I wonder how Hop-on Hop is making cell phones at this price. This cell phone looks great too, and it looks like it also includes most of the features you would expect to find on a standard cell phone. The camera is not bad, it's 2.0 Megapixels, and there's even an SD card slot!

  • Like the other commentors up there, I was comparing this PC to the HP HDX Dragon. Although the Dragon was a Notebook PC, I think it's still logical to compare the two PC's because they're both heavy and they both have big screens. The HP Dragon has a 20-inch screen while the Touchsmart PC has a 22-inch screen. I find it funny that the HP HDX Dragon is $5,000 while this Touchsmart PC is just around $1,500. The specs of the Touchsmart PC are almost similar to the specs of the HP HDX Dragon! They both are very powerful. The only reason I would see anyone wanting to purchase the HP HDX Dragon is for entertainment, and using it as a PC rather than a notebook. For a PC the Touchsmart PC is way better and worth the low price. The obvious reason for purchasing it over the HP HDX Dragon is that it's touchscreen! For those that like to participate in giveaways, HP is holding a sweepstakes for this Touchsmart PC. I believe it's only open to those living in the U.S. If you go to the following URL, you can enter it: http://www.hp.com/united-states/campaigns/touchsmart/index.html#/Sweepstakes/

  • I was kind of hoping that they would announce flash for the iPhone! I wasn't really disappointed about it though because I doubt the type of hardware Apple has can really support Flash, and if it did then Flash wouldn't really work well on it and wouldn't be usable. I already learned a lot about the 3G iPhone through Gear Live, so I just went through parts of this video and noticed a new concept -- Mobile Me! I think this is a very useful software for iPhone users, and it will definitely become popular among them. It's basically a piece of software that allows you to synchronize data between your PC/laptop/iPhone. If you make a change such as adding a new contact on your iPhone, the change gets pushed to your PC and laptop also. The same happens if you do it with your PC or laptop. It's really nice of Apple to make this software work with Windows also instead of just MACs.

  • After reading on the new features of the 3G iPhone, I see no reason for current iPhone users to not upgrade to the 3G iPhone. It has better specs, and it has a lower cost. One thing that I noticed when I read this was that the price of the 8 GB iPod Touch and the price of the new 16 GB 3G iPhone are both the same -- $299. I believe this means that Apple will lower the cost of the iPod Touch once they release the 3G iPhones!

  • @ movvadinesh: In Andru's other post he stated that Amazon was down because there was something wrong with their servers, they didn't intentionally take their website down. In this blog post Apple took their website down intentionally to update their website with the new 3G iPhone details. I think it was nice of Apple to at least put up a notice that they're closing their website for maintenance. It's always good to notify your viewers of what's going on with your website. I've seen many websites go down for maintenance and not tell their viewers why they went down. We like to be informed!

  • The speed, battery life, and price are the main factors that make the new iPhone 3G worth purchasing over the current iPhone. Apple was smart when they designed the new iPhone, now they will be making a lot more revenue because current iPhone users will have no excuse not to upgrade to the new 3G iPhone. Although the price of the iPhone 3G has decreased, I doubt that would be the main factor attracting new iPhone users. This is because even though the price has been lowered, Apple still requires you to have a contract with AT & T. The day when Apple allows other companies, especially Verizon, to offer the iPhone, Apple will get a lot of iPhone users!

  • The Audi GSM Phone looks interesting and must be a cool cell phone for a kid to have! I don't like how it's shaped like a car though because if I put it in my pocket it would feel uncomfortable. For the price these phones are going for, they're not really worth it. You can easily get a better phone with better features. Instead of buying phones based on design, I think it's better to buy them based on the features and whether or not the phone accomplishes all the tasks I would want to perform on it. This phone doesn't really look promising, it's just the design that looks eye catching, and that is the reason why anyone would really buy this cell phone. This cell phone would make a great gift for teens though!

  • I like the design of this iHome! It matches with the colors of the iPod Touch/iPhone. It also charges your iPod, which is very convenient and saves computer power. It's great how this iHome allows you to change the orientation of the way your iPod is displayed. You can view your iPod horizontally or vertically, whichever way you like!

  • I always thought that Guitar Hero was only playable on the XBOX 360 because of the guitar hardware that came with the game. It's interesting to see that they've managed to implement a version of Guitar Hero on the Nintendo DS. Not a lot of people have XBOX 360's, and the people, mainly children, who have Nintendo DS's will now get to have fun with Guitar Hero. In return. the makers of Guitar Hero get more publicity and more fans. This was very smart of Guitar Hero's creators. They will really reach a wider audience with the launch of this game.

  • This looks like a great mobile phone for athletes to have. I would rather go with the iPhone because it can definitely do what this phone can do and it has a lot more applications that can be created for it through the SDK kit. Unlike the Toshiba Sportio, the iPhone is more customizeable, is touchscreen, and has WiFi. It's also 3G now and has a GPS system too. I didn't like the shape of the buttons on the Tosiba Sportio, and I also thought they looked small in the screenshots. I did like the fact that the Toshiba Sportio offered five different colors: orange, white, black, red, and green, while the iPhone just has two colors -- Black and white. This mobile phone also weighs a little less than the iPhone. If it's price is less than the iPhone then it's a good mobile phone to get.
