  • If you use a backchannel, would you please set it up in advance, with a way to confirm that any recommended software is up and working. I have never managed to get into a backchannel yet, and fussing about it during the event is a complete waste of time. [Something to add to the Uplifter / Confirmable Experience topic too.]

  • I visited http://uplifter.org and they could stand some serious organization. I suspect that there is a meta-challenge around how to use a Wiki. (What I do like is the prevalence of WikiMedia Wikis these days. Now there needs to be some uplift on using these thingies, and uplifter.org would be a good place to start ;-) . So, yes, I support the idea of an Uplifter meet-up at MindCamp 2.0. I thought Hugh's Pragmatism page was very interesting. In many ways, I am aligned with this in wanting to make sure people have "confirmable experiences" in approaching technology, verifying what is happening, and being able to communicate that to others for whatever reason (e.g., troubleshooting, tips, and problem reporting). Let's do it.
