  • Thanks for your comment, Alvie. My review is based solely on what I perceived in the month I had been using the Blockbuster service. I imagine the range of discrepancy between customers is vast – exactly why we invite you to leave comments. So again, thank you. There was a suit brought against Netflix a few years ago regarding "throttling." I can't imagine they'd be stupid enough to continue to do so after settling out of court and taking on around $4 million in losses. Have you heard claims of this occurring since then? And I am curious – what Blockbuster movies have you found (besides some of the exclusive Weinstein titles) that are missing from Netflix?

  • She was only making a suggestion. What the hell is wrong with you, Evgeniiextremist? If you don't agree, just say so. Besides, this guy isn't some advocate for free speech – he only wants to profit from the controversy. He's no better than some corporations that appeal to – in your words – the "mindless sheep." Oh, and thanks for making it easy.

  • This is what your source says: "Announcing the project in March, Jack Nasser said that the film would not be 'focused on the trash' and the tabloid-filling final days of the late model, but would be a comprehensive look at her life touching on many of her milestones..." "...would not be 'focused on the trash'..."

  • I think you meant to say that the filmmakers will NOT be focusing on the "trash." Probably a typo. :)

  • You make some good points, TG. If the film does one thing, it's getting people to talk, to discuss and maybe someday resolve these issues. Thanks for the comments.

  • Where? Where can I buy an HD-DVD player for $50? The component cables for my SD player were almost that much! If that's true, I've been looking in the wrong catalogues.

  • We are separating the show for people like you, who want quick snippets about individual movies, and for people who might want to watch entire episodes with some extra segments and bloopers. We all work very hard on the full episodes, but understand there are people who just want a quick review. If you don't want to watch both, you have the option to only watch one. :)

  • If you drop your DS, these things may help to avoid a few scuffs, but they won't much help with serious damage. Get a nice case, people. It will protect from scratches and other major harm, and possibly hold a few games as well. I am, however, a big fan of screen protectors.

  • Boo! Hiss! Get bent, Blockbuster. Netflix will never succumb to your feeble attempts at online success. I heart you, Netflix.

  • If you drop your DS, these things may help to avoid a few scuffs, but they won't much help with serious damage. Get a nice case, people. It will protect from scratches and other major harm, and possibly hold a few games as well. If you desperately want to continuously display your DS, just play more often. I am, however, a huge fan of screen protectors.
