I am glad that you received a blessing from my post because I believe that we all have a responsibility to each other to lift one another up, and sometimes it takes sharing your own struggles with others so that we can have a sense of connection, a sense that we are NOT alone because we all battle with our faith, we are imperfect creatures and to try to hide that from each other
takes too much energy. God loves me for who I am, so I am not ashamed of my struggles with my faith...especially, as you said, with family and work and life being preoccupations it is hard to focus.
Hang in there girl, and God Bless you all too.
Hi "Mother" thank you for your comment as I appreciate any feedback as long as it is not vulgar. And in response to you, yes I did change his diapers, as I still do for my 3 year old,
and I looooves the poop, I take the diaper, and put it on my shrine of poop diapers and worship and light candles every 10 minutes. Seriously, I had a great laugh at my son's expense and wrote this post with humor intended, please relax, enjoy life, and wash your hands after pooing.
Oscar, your comments touched my heart and reaffirmed my reason for publishing this post, with God as our rock and the kind of friend like you who can reassure me with an understanding that is so kindhearted, I know that my reason for reaching out was so that people in similar situations can offer each other the support they need. I am sorry for your loss as well and hope that you have been able to heal with that Eternal hope to hold onto.
Thank you Edwin for your words, but I can only be grateful to God for giving me the strength to be able to inspire others rather than turning that pain and anger into something that is self-destructive. God Bless.
Thanks Ponzi, for allowing me to help and be a part of your conference. I hope what I posted did not leave a negative taste in your mouth, that was not my intention. You two are the best at what you do, I hope to learn from you.
I just learned blog etiquette fresh from Blogher- I did not know it was customary to respond to comments...I appreciate you reading what I have to offer, and I wish you had been there.
Hope to get together with you soon!
Thanks for the kind words, and you are right about the three podcasts, four blogs and the mastering of Halo, 'cept now he can ALSO turn the tv on, set the remote to Tivo, turn the DVD player on, and start his Elmo DVD and be reciting "What's Elmo thinking about today?" in 3 seconds flat.
