Chris Cardinal is an avid writer both for personal projects and Gear Live, in addition to freelancing. After spending six months at Gizmodo, he took off to continue building his web application business, Synapse Studios, and is currently working towards a further expansion of his business.

He is also an avid traveler and enjoys playing the drums. He has a dry sense of humor that allows him to write in the third person without reproach, and a sarcastic, rapier wit that only occasionally gets him slapped.
